Discover where to enjoy delicious Mexican dishes in Whitchurch-Stouffville.
“Moved in to Stouffville 4 months ago and was looking for a real great place to have some good quality very tasty delicious food and I found it. This place hands down is one of the best spots to eat in the Town. If you are a Mexican food lover their menu carries some authentic flavors and combinations that compare to Mexico's street food. The atmosphere is great the staff are very friendly and the food and the value is great! Will be coming to this spot at least 1-2 times a week! its that good.Vegetarian options: They have great vegetarian options and their food, sauces and seasoning add lots of flavor so even vegetarian options pack a punch of flavour.Parking: Plenty of free parking its a big plaza“
“The staff are always friendly and they make sure your food is exactly the way you want it. Tastes great, very fresh ingredients. Love the new street tacos!Vegetarian options: We often order bean burritos. The new veggie crunch street tacos are also vegetarian. Skip the cheese and burrito sauce to make it vegan.Kid-friendliness: I see a lot of parents with kids every time we come by (which is often!)Parking: Busy plaza, but lots of cars just picking food up. I usually can get a spot directly in front of the restaurant.Dietary restrictions: You can customize to opt out of dairy, meat. We have a peanut allergy issue, and there are no peanuts, or nuts, as far as I know.“
“So, my girlfriend and I were feeling for a good burrito yesterday and decided to meet up at the Main St., Markham location. Counter staff was quite friendly and even provided insight to help us with decisions. We ended up doing a Shrimp/Halibut combo (one bowl and a quesadilla) with a great array of fixings. Very filling and worth the price!“
“First impressions: very clean and well organized. Delicious halal tacos, burritos, and bowls. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I recommend the spicy chicken and spicy steak. Their are a couple of tables to enjoy the food fresh. Give it a visit, you won't be disappointed.“
“Came here around 7:30pm on Friday and we were served by Jay. He was absolutely amazing and definitely deserves some recognition! The store was very busy so it did take some time, but that’s understandable because Jay practically was doing everything by himself and we had an order of about 10 items. Our food was made very well and tasted great. But what stood out the most was Jay. The speed at which he was working was extremely commendable, he was managing not just the orders of the people in line at the store but also dealing with the plethora of online orders he was receiving as well. Would come back here just for his service alone!!! barBurrito is lucky to have an employee like him!“
“I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food served. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. It's evident that your team is passionate about providing top-notch cuisine to your customers.“
“This chain has pretty cheap grub. Nothing fancy - mainly tacos, burritos & burgers, but there's lots of deals & potential for customisation. Ever wanted relish, feta & hot sauce in your tacos with sweet barbecue chicken? That's an option here! Had chicken, ground beef & pulled pork tacos with a mixture of soft, hard & soft corn shells, sour cream, secret sauce & mango sauce, refried, mild black & spicy kidney beans. All the tacos were fresh & they were generous with the meats, especially considering they were $3 each. Pork & chicken were really tasty & ground beef was decent. The soft corn taco was fragile though. Spicy taste beef with spicy beans was really spicy.“
“Never been to this location in person however I always used to order from this specific one... I always get a chicken bowl (never goes wrong) & fries. When I first started ordering from this location the fries were always crispy & golden, super delicious! However the last 3 times I've ordered the fries they've managed to give me stale & overcooked batches... to the point where it feels like I'm eating literal chips... at first maybe I thought it just was the first/second time... but this is now the third time this has happened in a row!! The smell they give off as well smells like they haven't changed their oils at all... I used to work in the food industry & know about oil changes & making food with overused oils.... very disappointed! Don't think I'll be ordering from this location again.“
“There is like zero mexican food in Richmond Hill so this resto is a very welcome addition to the hood. The best tacos I've ever had outside of mexico were in san diego, los angeles and san francisco (all close to the southern border). These tacos are actually above average even though they don't stack up to the ones down south!Birria tacos: The meat in the birria tacos was very tender and moist. The size of the tacos was on point. I do think there's room for improvement though. While they used the proper oaxacan cheese and the tortilla shell was made fresh, the consummé was not as flavourful as the ones down south. It was slightly peppery but it wasn't nearly as layered as it should've been. Another thing I preferred down south was having the tortilla shells dipped in consummé first before being laid on the griddle (there's a place in SF that actually crisped the outside of the tortilla shell with cheese as well).Fish tacos: My gf really liked these tacos. Her taco experience down in SF was vastly inferior to mine and she actually liked these fish tacos over what she had down south. I took a bite and the white fish was cooked very well. The fish was flaky yet moist and there was a hefty amount of fish.Grilled chicken fajitas: Classic spread with tortillas, rich black beans, rice, salsa, cheese and the sizzling plate of chicken on top of roasted peppers. The black beans at this resto are actually amazing. Better flavour than some restos' black beans down south. I do wish they gave me real oaxacan cheese instead of the traditional, cheap tex mex cheese though. Put everything all together and it was just an explosion of flavour in the mouth.Mariachi platter: I tried this awhile ago when the resto first opened up. It comes with tacos, a burrito and enchiladas so you get to try a lil bit of everything. The enchiladas were a sleeper hit for me. The chorizo is not much to write home about but the platter as a whole is really filling and for under $30 it's a GREAT bang-for-your-buck deal.Parking lot is a bit of a hassle during the weekends as it's always busy. You'll want to park on the Code Ninja side.“
“Many grilled/fried protein combinations and flavors. Toppings and sauces are all free including guacamole.Wednesday special is $6.99 for any small burrito. Great deal! The eat in environment is quite dirty though. Tables are not cleaned often. And parking is always impossible in the plaza. Park in nearby plaza and walk over.Parking: Park in neighbor plaza if no parking is available. Very busy during lunch“
