“We had dinner at Kona last night in Tecumseh on the rooftop. We had a fantastic meal and the service was great, considering there was only one wait staff up there. He did a wonderful job. My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!”

And he shared his love of food and wine. The menu is extensive, and all of the food was heavenly. We had the most delicious steaks (cooked to perfection), crab, fresh vegetables with creamy rich sauces, mushrooms were fabulous, and the risotto was perfection! We had strawberries flambé, lemon tart, and crème brûlée. They were all perfectly balanced with rich and bold flavors. The meal was perfectly paced, and Gavin made our evening very special. We'll be back for sure!”

The Penne Spago with Caesar Salad and complimentary Garlic Pita was a delightful combination that was bursting with flavor. However, the highlight for me was the portobello alla griglia - it was truly amazing. What's more, the service at Spago's was impeccable. The staff was not only professional, but also incredibly friendly and happy. We were especially impressed by the Manager, who visited our table three times and made sure that we were having a great time. It was clear that the entire team at Spago's cares deeply about their guests' dining experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Spago's enough. This was the second time this week that we were invited to eat at the restaurant, and we accepted without hesitation. “Very solid and tasty vegan options, I like having breakfast/brunch here with friends. Seating could be more comfortable (metal chairs with a smaller bucket seat) but the environment is still cute, a charming downtown cafe spot. Servers are sweet, and I have never waited long dor food even with a fuller house. I recommend the vegan bowls and breakfast wraps, vibrant and tasty food. Prices feel reasonable for the freshness and goodness of the food, I spend 16-18 on vegan breakfast options but there are cheaper options, and then coffee and tip, it's pretty good. Very solid I have been back 4 5 times now.

My only complaint would be the seating. They are funky looking chairs, but they’re SOOOO uncomfortable. I’m 5’6 and the seat was way too deep!! Forces you to sit perched forward, which is really uncomfortable. And the seats are so hard I actually had a very sore tailbone. Other than that it was GREAT!!!!”

“First time trying this place (Chinese restaurant), and I wish I had done it sooner! They offer a great mix of Cantonese and Szechuan dishes. I ordered the shrimp with Maggi seasoning, paired with steamed rice and wonton soup. The wonton soup was light and refreshing, and the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and flavourful. Generous serving for the main dish, and both dishes were simple but done really well. The house tea was perfectly brewed, and the service was prompt and excellent. Overall, a great dining experience!

“Food review time! Tonight we have Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill ordered the Texan burger (no jalapeño) with garlic parm fries and the deep fried cheesecake. The review: OMG! everything is delicious. The BBQ sauce on the burger has a great little kick but not overly spicy. The fries hit that garlic kick and cooked PERFECTLY. And this cheesecake, omg guys get this thing! Crispy outside, soft melty cheesecake inside. SO GOOD Rating on meal as a whole: 10/10 highly recommend. Plus he may not have been there when I ordered but Jesse Taylor-Vigneux is the absolute BEST”

“Been coming here for years! Authentic food - nice place - clean - hasn’t changed in about 15-20 years - nice dim lighting. Love sitting by the window to people watch while we eat.
But the food is the true star. Nothing else like it in Windsor. Lots of veggie options and delish meat options. I recommend the veggie or meat combo dinner for 1. So good. Great spot - couldn’t imagine downtown windsor without it. An absolute must-go with a dedicated group of people who have also been going here for years because it’s just such a staple.”
