“I retired from BASF and had lunch here often and it was consistently very good. I went recently for dinner and the food and atmosphere was as remembered. I had to knock the service a little for being slow but in their defense I was in a group of 11.Parking: Parking on the street is best but very limited. There is a large lot in the back.“
“The food was so good. My delivery was super fast. It arrived hot and was seasoned so well. Another customer said they ate with their eyes closed and so did I lol. I feel like it has almost become underrated with time, but it still holds up.Gus's is one of the only places where I enjoy White meat. The chicken is that juicy. The collard greens are also awesome. This chicken isn't at all like the standard fare around town. “Today was a super busy day for them. We waited about 1hour for our food but it was just right on point. I Really loved the food and wanted the kool aid but that's fine I had eggs wing dings and home Fresh potatoes. If you're ever on the east side of Detroit please stop by. It's a small quant place and great food.“
