Driving through from the Detroit airport and we were starving. Decided to give this place a try and it didn’t disappoint. The flavors were incredible and the portions were more than enough for our family. Will definitely visit here again.
It’s “okay” shawarma - chicken seems to be unseasoned, the garlic sauce is very runny and mostly lemony with very little garlic taste, and the special plate with the chicken tastes almost entirely of fattoush salad dressing. It’s good but I wouldn’t say great and there’s a lot of great shawarma places in Windsor (I really love Monaco Express just up the road). I ordered the vegetarian plate from here. The rice, potatoes, and fattoush were delicious. The cauliflower and eggplant were very burnt and had a burnt flavour. Overall it was pretty good besides the burnt stuff. They also included lots of napkins and cutlery with my order which is always appreciated!
