“The food here is amazing. I've never had issues with quality or quantity. However, the lighting in the restaurant could be better. I understand that the intention might be to create a relaxing environment, but I think it could be a little brighter. If you're not dining in, it won't be an issue, though.Parking: Parking is sufficient.“
“Just ordered braised greens and Mafi stew with chicken!y mouth is LOVING the flavours. Absolutely delicious! The portions come with rice and I have enough leftover for lunch tomorrow. “Went for lunch with some friends to rendezvous, the food is very tasty with the various vegetable combo and meat combos. Their injera is very fresh. Had left over which I warmed up the next day with the Injira and it was still tasty. The smell of frankincense is very delightful.“
“Place is busy. It’s a family run business so you expect some behind the scenes scenarios. Not real order tracking statement in place when you order it. It’s your word against theirs. Good idea to keep a note of the time and date you ordered your food and the name of who took your order otherwise you can be turned away ann’s next thing you know you are forced to serve your guests pizza instead of Indian African menu. It happen to me once but that was only once in last 100 times I have ordered so I have learnt to take as much as information from the person taking my order. What I don’t like and would like them to changed in their practice is the greed. You charge $15 in an average for a dish and things like samosas and kababs could be $24 dozen and some meat champs can be as much as $36 dozen cash no credit card facility and you charge extra if we want a little extra chutney. Now you get sorry little plastic container for 2 samosa and the same amount of chutney if you buy a dozen that’s not fair. Please work on that. And we know you are not paying taxes that you are owed. You don’t want CRA knocking your doors because you pissed someone off a container of chutney. It’s not worth the pain. Trust me uncle.“
“This is the best Nigerian food place in Toronto! Like I cook very good soups because I'm from Akwa-Ibom, so it is usually difficult to find anything I can enjoy, like I cannot risk soups at all, but I've had this restaurant's okro and a whole banga, they were amazing to the point that I'm commenting on google!! Just go and try!!!“
“This was my first time trying this type of food, and I will start off by saying that I will be going back here as much as possible! The food was absolutely delicious.Everyone who was working there was extremely kind and welcoming to my friend and myself. We each tried a bit of everything on the menu, and we had no complaints at all. We were amazed at how good it was. The chef even came out to say hi to us as we were leaving, which we found to be very nice! We were also shocked at the low prices for such high-quality fresh and home-cooked food. Thank you to everyone at Le Plato, we will be back!“
“This is the most affordable Nigerian meal I’ve had since getting to Canada. I got the small gizzard with a side of Jollof rice and extra plantain. It was a good meal and I was soo full. It is a good enough portion if you’re someone who doesn’t have a large appetite. The interior was pretty nice. My friend and I had a lovely night. There was a man at the bar area when we got in and then a lady from the kitchen who attended to us and they were both soo nice!“
“Thanks New Banadir Restaurant. I ate Meet and Chicken yesterday and it was absolutely amazing and tests nice, affordable restaurants. The people here are very friendly and professional. I really recommend everyone to visit this restaurant. One thing you don't have to worry is satisfaction guaranteed and tests nice.“
