You get out of it what you put into it. The facility is modern and nice. But... if you're not there all the time helping your family member or being an advocate, that resident is not going to do all that well. There's only a few caregivers and one maintenance person for a facility of over 200 residents. The food situation is mediocre at best, no menus, only a couple options. It's been 6 months, and things have gotten much better. There are still issues with communication I feel, but the residents overall seem happier. Also KUDOS to the staff for their guidance through the current covid-19 issues. They are working very hard to keep us safe.

The original review was manipúlated by a staff at Bonaventure. They didn't like me so they took away my review that they all read And told me about. When my mother was there she was treated horribly. Driving by the building makes me sick. If you want to live where there are rarely no lisenced staff on hand, , lay on the floor with a broken hip for hours, sit on a commode for over an hour, fall into a toilet. Here's your place.
