“A friend and I were at an event and didn't want to eat any more of the food there, so we looked at our other options and I saw this listing. I've heard good things about it, and the fish and chips sounded really good to both of us, so off we went. We enjoyed the fish and chips very much--the fish was nice and crispy on the outside and moist and flaky in the inside without being greasy. Fries were the softer, homemade kind with the skin on, that aren't super crispy but they had a good flavor. The portions weren't huge, but my friend and I both left full. She had some kind of cranberry hard cider and it was pretty good. I had a nice glass of ice tea. The restaurant itself was smallish with hardwood floors and an area with a dart board. It was fairly full, even for mid afternoon. I could see how it might get pretty noisy at night if it got crowded, but they seemed to have a nice covered patio off to the side that would probably be wonderful in warmer weather. Staff was also nice (we were there after lunch, so had to order at the bar, but that was fine).”

“This is the kind of place you go for a business meeting or in quiet romantic date or something to go because you like a really good food this place has really good food video poker in the back room there's six machines on Wednesday busy most of the time I never eaten in the restaurant only been in the lounge and I like it there if you're not expecting a lot of activity and people”

“They were closed, but the employees were still inside. I was just in need of some water, which they didn't have. She kindly offered me apple juice, but I said it was for my dog, so even just a bowl would help. Immediately upon hearing it was for my the sweet gal used her personal water bottle water to fill up a bowl for my dog. It was incredibly considerate. Great customer service.”

They add the extra "A" at the end to make it sound Italian.I had a grilled cheese and tomato soup, because it was cold and what else are you going to have when it's like that?
