I posted an outstanding review back in 2016. Wife and I visited again about 6 weeks ago. New building and nice ambience, etc. Service was excellent as was the food. However, we choked a bit when we reviewed the bill. With tip it came to over $150 for the two of us. I ordered coffee and had 2 refills. On the bill it showed $6 per cup or $18 for my coffee. It's not good to surprise customers with charges like this. As nice as it was it was not quite the value of a $150+ (with tip dinner). Maybe we'll go back for dessert and ice water.

As I was dining at Sweet Red I had to remind myself that I was in Albany, Oregon. The ambiance is spectacular. The only thing better is the food. Truly a gourmet experience. The service and cocktails are also fantastic!!!

Sweet Reds is one of the best in Albany. Plan on a longer meal when you go - but not a sacrifice as you will enjoy. The bistro steak and the steelhead are both excellent. Must try baked Brie. Good selection of beverages. Nice location and lighting.

We've been a few times now and never any complaints, but last night we got to visit their new location on 2nd Ave and it was so great! As always, the food and drinks were just phenomenal! I have never had a small plate, drink or dinner that I didn't like. I highly recommend the Dorian Gray drink - sooo good! All of the staff were so great and we never felt like we were forgotten. But our waitress, Jordynn was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly and all smiles. She made an excellent recommendation of the Crème Brûlée for dessert and of course, it was delicious!Sweet Red is by far one of our favorite places downtown and we love the new location too!

Great little place for Date Night. Went to the Pix down the block, then stopped there seconed street location for an amazing meal. Great atmosphere, service was amazing, and the food and drinks were even better. I highly recommend Sweet Reds Bistro.
Two former colleagues/friends and I had cocktails and dinner to follow at the new space that Sweet Red has opened, and all three of us were delighted at the service, décor and expanded menu. Cyndi the owner has missed nothing with this new opportunity, and we are very excited to see what "surprise" she has in store for our community in her old space on first. All three of us had different entrée selections and gave them a 5 star rating! Craft cocktails were outstanding and we are VERY fortunate to have Cyndi expanding her venue in our community. Jordan our server was fabulous and we will not hesitate to return or recommend. If you have never been, you are truly missing out. Cyndi, keep up the excellent work and congrats on your new addition on 2nd.

Stopped in for a late night happy hour and had an enjoyable evening. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders/servers were very attentive and knowledge about the drink and food options. We will be back for sure!

The most incredibly uncomfortable seating I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Both tables near me clearly had the same issue with one table switching sides and another person not wanting to sit in the stupid high chairs they have. Who thought making grown adults sit in a high chair like a baby was a good idea? Never going back.
