Restaurantji unveils Ashland's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“Favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! Food is delicious, portions are huge, and the staff is SO kind. I get their vegetarian Expresso Burrito (and a Shirley temple when dining in person - a seriously underrated beverage). Inside is casual with cozy booths and lots of TVs to watch sports. You can get a burrito at the other restaurant downtown for the same price but half the size and not as flavorful (for a veg burrito). Go here!!“
“First time visiting Taqueria Picaro in Ashland Oregon. Our group of 6 had no trouble finding a seat at about 5:30 on President's Day. This is an order at the counter and find a seat kind of place. There is a flight of stairs to climb on the way in. The restaurant is casual and had a casual vibe to it. The menu had a good selection of dishes, which included vegetarian options on several offerings. We had arrived while happy hour was still happening, and ordered a margarita and a cider. It didn't take long for the drinks to be served up, and the food followed shortly afterwards. Tamales, taquitos, rice and beans, a burrito and a taco plate were the choices today. Everyone enjoyed their food. Good flavors. Salsas and chips were enjoyed as well.“
“Came here for appetizers and tried their ceviche. It was not very busy, only one other group. Was quickly served. They have a long list of typical Mexican food.Nice ambiance with paintings inside the restaurant. It’s well located in the city center with plenty of parking.“
“<5 minutes walking distant from the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ashland, El Paraiso Mexican restaurant fit the bill. Ordered takeout; fresh, quality ingredients; generous portions; well prepared; friendly & quick service; clean tasting, not greasy but flavor lacked character; good value; reasonable; recommended. Support your local restaurants & small businesses ?“
“Very nice people who obviously really care about their customers. Delightful attitudes, tasty food and served hot. Generous portions too. They offer whole beans for those who don't want to eat lard and if you want a hotter salsa than normal, just ask and they'll bring it on out.“
“Big Al brought out to our table a great Strawberry milkshake that reminded me of when I was a kid. For a refurbed drive-in burger bar, it was cool to have all the classics on the menu PLUS some fantasic Mexican options. Nice but not fancy, good prices and food made by people who care about the quality.“
