The Franz Bakery outlet store has been here for years and I often shop here on my trips to Astoria. They have a wide variety of discounted and day old Franz bakery items - very inexpensive! They also offer senior discounts. The store employees are always super nice. I sure recommend it, especially for families on a budget and need to stretch their dollars..
Astoria is a fun place to be to begin with, the last stop before heading home was in this bakery outlet store the selection was great and the pricing awesome! The customer service was outstanding as the nice lady behind the counter was very cordial and obviously appreciated her customers. If you want a great product at a great price and service with a smile this is the place to stop off for an in and out bargain.

Very quiet place that is "crowded" if there are three people in there at one time. Great prices on not quite perfect loaves of bread. Daily specials too. Definitely worth checking out.
