The empanadas were great, larger than we expected, the fruit and cheese starter was huge and the wine sampler was great. My wife was still talking the next morning about how much she enjoyed our meal.

Food and service were impeccable. Wine pairings were very good and server offered us samples of other wines as well. Only critique is that it was freezing cold in the lower dining room and most guests had their coats on during their meals.

We had a great experience at LaChona! Our first time and won't be our last. The Valentines Day experience was amazing. We underestimated the amount of food, which is a good thing. Everyone from greeting to server to food runner were all friendly. 10/10

I had a wonderful experience here for my first time. The wine, food, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. Great spot to spend an evening in conversation with friends and loved ones.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Party of six, four of us had the wine flight each, so this added to the bill. Shared salads and the each of us had 2 empanadas. Wine flights were fun and elegant, served on a multi-level stand. Empanadas were delicious! You really need to order 2 to make a dinner. Adding the salad is good too. It got to be pricy with the wine, salads, and empanadas, but it was all delicious and fun. The woman who served us was nice, polite, and didn't mind taking a few minutes to answer questions and take our picture. I only gave it a star lower than perfect due to the overall price.

The food was tasty and well prepared and presented. The service was friendly, attentive and efficient without being intrusive. We only tried two types of empanadas: criolla and humita. The meat in the criolla was overly ground, almost a paste, rather than the texture of ground beef. The flavor was authentic. The thought was delicious but not quite the traditional Argentinian style. The humita could have been creamier. The chimichurri had cilantro instead of parsley, which is a no-no for us. While the atmosphere is not Argentine the food was very good so we do recommend the place for the interesting culinary experience.

This was our first visit and we will DEFINITELY be back! The empanadas were heavenly- flaky and flavorful, perfectly cooked! The young woman who served us was caring and wonderful! We loved trying the wine flights which were quite good!!❤️ I HIGHLY recommend this new place!!!

What a great little local spot! Adorable ambiance, delicious food and fantastic wine, something unique to the neighborhood. This would make a fabulous ladies night, date night, wine tasting stop, happy hour, or meal out with a group. We went for dinner but I'm excited to go back and try lunch and weekend brunch.

First time diners. Location is nice enough and love the decor, very tastefully done. The owner who attended to us was pleasant but service was a bit slow and he gave us our coffee drinks way before our meal so we were done by the time we had our food. We asked for refills but we were informed there are none so we would have to buy another small cup of coffee for $5-$6 each (just like Starbucks he informed us.) Not the usual at a breakfast place so we skipped and just had water. The food was very tasty but don't come with a huge appetite because portions are small. We also ordered two empanadas to go. When we were presented with the bill it was not itemized only given the total which we did not realize includes a 15% "fee" which should not be interpreted as a tip we found out. This is written at the bottom of the menu so easy to miss. We should have asked for an itemization so our bad but itemization should be the norm since it presents an awkward situation to make diners ask for it. Most diners do not appreciate extra fees added onto the bill. All in all the food was delicious and the empanadas which we had later were very good - but don't know if we will be back. If we do we now know what to expect.

Service was very slow. We asked for a glass of champagne with a splash of orange juice and got a glass of orange juice with a splash of champagne. We ordered 2 empanadas and two glasses of orange juice/ a smidge of champagne for a total of 48 dollars. We will not be back.

Friendly neighborhood restaurant meets upscale urban bistro. Excellent wine and empanadasKid-friendliness: Empanadas are great hand-held food, as are the papas.

This is a wonderful, family owned restaurant. The offerings were varied enough to satisfy all 4 at our table for lunch. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was all made in house and delicious. We had the Choricita, Empanadas: Abuela Chona, Sweet Beef, Espinaca, and Criolla. We finished with alfajor, a delicious cookie. With so many varied flavors you will not be disappointed.

A great overall experience: great food (amazing empanadas), great service, great place. They have developed the closest flavor to the Argentinian empanada in the PNW that I've tried so far. Wholesome ingredients baked with love. Thank you.
