We had the pleasure of going in today on a whim, and are so glad we did. Super nice and helpful owner, great variety, and the most delicious cupcakes we've ever tried! The place was decorated very whimsical/chic, and also does parties. This place is a breath of fresh air for this town. I can't recommend enough. Go get you some cupcakes. :)

Outstanding company. What a tasty bakery. Ohhh, the cupcakes. We ordered several for a recent party we hosted. Absolutely the most delicious cupcakes I have ever had. Our guests were raving about them. So moist and tasty. They even looked amazing.The owner hand delivered them to a rendezvous location and gave me perfect instructions on how to get them home safely.What a gem of a company. Highly highly recommend. BTW, she is in great demand so place you order early:). Can't wait to order a cake from her.

Lenore is the absolute best. Her cakes and cupcakes are gorgeous and they taste amazing. My wife and I have ordered cakes that seem to have one or the other - looks or taste. Lightning gets both done without any shortcomings. Lenore took all of our ideas and hopes and then made them even better. The transition of color. The swirls. It is obvious that she has perfected her craft. And then the flavor! So moist. The frosting wasn't too sweet or heavy. We got the white velvet for the cake and then went with four flavors of cupcakes: toasted almond coconut, chocolate cream cheese, red velvet, and white velvet. We have our daughters second birthday coming up and will be going through Lightning Cupcakes and Cakes - because perfection, beauty, and taste can not be compromised. Also, if you didn't know, Lenore is also a huge advocate for children's health. Please read on their story to honor their son who has passed away from AML. Their cakes are equally as special as the people who bake them. Thanks so much Lenore!

Update- it's gotten awkward. After messaging me several times and offering me free cupcakes so I would give her a better review, she has decided that I have not changed fast enough for her liking and has decided to try and get my review removed. She claims she messaged me at 10pm and has photo proof, but has yet to produce that image. (UPDATE she texted the wrong number my prefixis 299 not 209). So if you are not prepared to deal with constant harassment if your review is less than stellar, I would recommend trying someplace else. Left a message on Thursday the 18 about a custom order. Their automated message says they will get back to you after the weekend. Never heard from them again. Not very professional.
