You can't go wrong with hot pot, it's never not delicious. Unfortunately happy lamb has other problems with this establishment.The reviews have been kind to this restaurant, allowing it to be full of itself. I understand the prices for the basic all you can eat, the premium buffet price difference, and a separate charge for a drink. What I don't get is an optional charge for sauce. Never have I experienced such price gouging at ANY restaurant.The customer service was a slap combo to the face. When beef and seafood was requested, beef and pork was presented. Pork was not ordered, pork was not wanted this time around. The staff was told about this, and tried to orchestrate a ploy to present the pork as beef! The difference is known to someone as myself, as well as other staff members who saw it was clearly pork and not beef! Wow!As the experience continued, more beef was brought to the table, but none of the shrimp made its way to the hot pot. Once the staff was notified, the shrimp finally found itself at the table. This is when the attitude of the server changed for the worse. The gall.This place is an established location, however this enables it to have what seems like a rotating door of sub-par staff members. Also, having the ability of charging extra for things that's normally a part of the regular experience. Maybe one day I'll return to happy lamb, but it may be years if I ever do.

I haven't had hotpot this good since I left New York. The broth was delicious and flavorful, all of the food was fresh and tasty. It had a really fun, upbeat atmosphere and was well worth the trip out to Beaverton. Very excited to go back again!

The soup is delicious, you can adjust the ingredients yourself, the meat is of good quality, and the meal comes out quickly. It’s very cost-effective to buy the set meal on the app!This restaurant is doing very well, and there is always a queue every time I go there. It is recommended that you make a reservation!The parking lot seems to close at 9:00, so you have to ask the attendant inside to use their card to press the elevator to get to the parking lot. Although there are not many parking spaces, we always find a spot every time we go. If the parking space is full, you can also park on the roadside!Be careful in the parking lot. You can only park in exclusive parking spaces. It’s written on the wall!The Happy Sheep Burnaby store is really good. The restaurant is very spacious, with plenty of seats, a condiment bar and fries? Shrimp cakes.

After looking for his things for a while, he wanted to say something but didn't seem to say anything. I replied: It's just me. My family of 7 came here to celebrate a birthday and thankfully I've been to other hot pots because the staff was little to NO help.-We were given one menu and staff refused to give us more than the one for 7 people.-Staff refused to give us more than 2 pots for 7 people even though we pay per pot-No staff explained how hot pot works for the 6 others who have never had hot pot before.-When food was brought to the table no staff member stopped to explain what each dish was and how long to cook it-No staff came by to do drink refillsOverall the food quality and taste was outstanding but the staff was the main problem here.

We waited for an hour and they kept taking people who came in after us who had put their names in, we kept waiting and they told us there were six tables ahead of us and that people had be on the online waitlist. They did not tell us originally that the online waitlist took priority and we should do that, and a couple that came in after us and was leaving told us they signed up for the waitlist when they got there but were seated way before us. Just a complete waste of time.

So fabulous I went twice in the 3 days I was in Portland- once with a large group and once alone. Enjoyed both equally. The traditional broth is something I haven’t found anyplace else. Got my fix until next time☺️

This a pretty good place and quite popular with the local, including locals of Asian descent. The main offering is "hot pot" and you can get the "all you can eat buffet" or you can buy "a la cart", we got didnt get the buffet and we were quite full and paid less, your mileage may vary as we are not heavy eaters :) Overall great value, good atmosphere, quite busy, friendly servers. If you get the "half and half" i warn you that the spicy one is quite very spicy so we will not get that one next time. Parking is free and relatively available in this strip mall.

This waitress that didnt even sit us down and serve us started shaming me and my friends for not tipping them after our meal dispite them completely ignoring our attepmt to get a second round and keep eating like we intended. it took 30 minutes to bring out drinks and even then they didn’t bring out all of our drinks so two of us out of four were just left without drinks the majority of the time. They kept taking our order and just never bringing it out to us. The staff were so rude and were most likely just listening to us put in an order with no intention of actually fufilling it. She made a huge scene about us putting a zero for the tip and not checking the zero box. And then she started laughing in our face when we tried explaining to her the service was horrible thats why were not tipping her and she just kept pointing at the tip boxes and demanding a tip and saying “if your not gonna tip card just tip cash, you cant tip cash??” Maam your service his horrible youre being very rude let us leave. Shes laughing us out the restaurant and actually calls over some other employees to laugh at us about not tipping her. And this is why!!! You guys are so heartless and mean just to expect us to give you more money for what? If you’re black or brown do not go there! You will be ignored and treated poorly. Otherwise everyone else would most likely have a great time
