“Of all the cities I have eaten sushi in 40 years including Tokyo London New York Los Angeles and too many others to list, THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER ENJOYED!!“

“Parking was a pain in the rear, but that's the only negative thing I have to say.

We ordered a few rolls and a chirashi, and want to come back just to try more. The rolls were decent size and the chirashi had plenty of fish, all feeling fresh.

Definitely recommend this place, even in between the surrounding restaurants.“

“The fish is fresh, amazing variety in terms of customizations, but what really set this place apart is the phenomenal customer service provided by Mari. Very welcoming presence, engaging, and patient as she walked us through our first time there. People in the industry should model her approach.“

My only disappointment has been the ramen: the broth is mediocre and the noodles are not fresh.“

We love walking there, they always greet us and the food is always super delicious! We love the staff and the atmosphere so much. “Fresh, beautifully presented sushi with great variety.

We ordered a mix of rolls and appetizers, and everything was consistently good. The rolls were well-balanced—not overly sauced—and the fish tasted fresh. The spicy tuna poke had a nice kick without overpowering the flavor of the fish, and the blistered shishito peppers were a perfect starter.

Presentation was thoughtful and elegant, especially the specialty rolls and nigiri. You can tell care went into both the food and plating. Service was attentive, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed but polished…great for a casual dinner or a special night out.

Would definitely come back to try more of the menu. 🍣“

“This is the second time we have gone to Kigaru and we love it! The Ramen is fantastic and the broth has great flavor. Sushi was outstanding and very fresh. Definitely would recommend the restaurant and you can get take out too“

“I ordered the sunrise bowl and they very nicely substituted the seaweed salad (which just isn't something I enjoy) with imitation crab when I asked if I could just not include the seaweed. The spring rolls were also very good, and I feel like I got a great amount of food for what I paid. The food was also very good for the price, and it's in a great location at the Chill N Fill in NoPo. I'd definitely visit again.“

“This restaurant serves above average sushi for a very reasonable price. Could you get more expensive sushi somewhere else ?. Yes. You could pay $15 a plate to get this food and have it be more high-end. But for the very reasonable prices they charge, this is one of the best sushi choices around. The ingredients are fresh, they are assembled properly, and it is good, quality food🤙“

“It's always a premium sushi experience. Interesting flavors, cocktails, and I always recommend mixing it up and trying new things. Favorites include the spicy tuna crispy rice, green machine, salmon flight, Negihama roll, and the King Salmon Nigiri with yakumi. You can't really miss here, only thing I would ding is the signature sashimis are a bit pricy and it's not a quiet romantic place but rather volume driven but food and service are excellent! Make sure to reserve a table they can get busy often:)“

“I didn’t take a photo (regret it now!), but these were honestly the best sushi I’ve had in Beaverton.

Everything was incredibly fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The fish tasted super fresh, and the ingredient combinations were just perfect — nothing to add, nothing to change. I’m genuinely impressed.

I ordered three rolls, and it basically turned into three full meals — they’re that filling and generous in size.

“Best sushi in pdx with amazing prices. The portions are incredible and you can tell they invest in high quality ingredients. Their menu is very accommodating and easy to understand. I highly recommend the soft shell crab, as well as their sweet shrimp sashimi!

I highly recommend this place to those looking to get real good sushi. I fear that everywhere else I have tried has not measured up to it at all !

Their bento boxes look like a great deal too - the only thing to keep in mind is that they usually close from 2:30 - 4:30pm daily which can be mildly inconvenient if you wanted to drop in for a late lunch.

“My buddy and I came here for dinner one evening over the summer. It was a nice atmosphere sitting outside.

The sushi is really good and hit the spot. We ordered a little bit of everything. Any time I try sushi on the west coast it’s really good. I would recommend coming by if you’re in the area.“

“In general I thought the space and the service were great! Staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The beer I got tasted like the lines were clean, and was cold. The method of ordering from the screen and/or the belt without the restaurant having too many plates out at once is a good way to keep things fresh!

I really think their crab salad mix used as the base for most rolls could use less mayo. It overwhelms the other flavors too much for my taste. And in general I felt things were too mayonnaise heavy inside rolls and as sauces of top. If they could change up their recipes to be a little less mayonnaise heavy it would make it one of my favorite conveyer belt sushi spots in the area.“

“Ordered by phone for pickup. They were finishing prepping our order when we arrived. Everything was super fresh. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Only negative- charged extra for spicy mayo. Paid for 3 and got 2. Have visited this location multiple times and will keep coming back.“
