My friend and I arrived close to closing time and didn’t think we’d be seated, but the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which set the tone for the entire experience.

“This was our first time here and certainly won't be the last. The ambiance, service and cuisine made for a marvelous evening. We enjoyed decadent salads (Swiss Chef and Beets with gorgonzola) The dessert was divine, and like our salads, the portions were generous and the quality of ingredients were excellent. “I just got home from an accidental visit to Bamboo Sushi.
I was going to neighboring businesses.
I was hungry and this is one of the few sushi places where I've never eaten.
Well, it turns out that it's one of the very best I've ever visited! A big surprise.
I'm only doing a short review now and hope to add to it soon.
My pictures will tell most of the story.
I looked at a neighboring restaurant and decided not for me.
When I poked my head into Bamboo Sushi, I was immediately impressed with being greeted professionally and she was friendly too. The decor was impressive. Clean, modern. Then when I looked at the menu I knew I was going to eat there now.
As I've said, I have appointments now but I'll try to post some of the pictures before I leave.
Chris was my main server and he was great!

“I really liked the steamed dumplings and the soup dumplings, the buns left much to be desired. Regardless, the food was good. Our server, Alexa was friendly, but was very busy. The atmosphere as a whole was good, but we were seated right next to the kitchen, and thus it was very loud.“

“Desi Bites was awesome! I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Paneer Butter Chicken, Aloo Tikki, Chicken Tandoori, the vegetable hakka noodles, and some garlic naan. Everything was fantastic and the service was done with a smile. I will be going back soon! They even have gift cards now :)“

Their food is incredible, big servings, and the owner suggested multiple sides to add to our meal. Their anpan and melonpan are perfect representations of tradition, while the edamame curry donuts are great twists for vegans.“

Have tried the Taco Supreme, Quesadilla, and Cochinita Tacos and look forward to working my way through the other items on the menu. The Cochinita dishes showcase wonderful delicious shredded pork as the protein. The Horchata was also extremely well made and one of the best I've had in Portland. Mama Chio Rocks!“

“We can’t wait to go back and try more. I almost didn’t even want to write this review because I want this place to remain a hidden gem but it’s too good not to spread the word.

Hidden upstairs in a Korean grocery store, the food was authentic and the atmosphere too. We arrived at 8:10pm on a Friday and the lady made an exception for us as the kitchen closed at 8, although the restaurant stays open till 9. We recommend coming before then.

We tried the bulgogi, the chicken bulgogi, and a kimchi pancake without the pork. Before the food came out, they brought us banchan which we devoured. It was a collection of kimchi, fish cakes, potatoes in sweet soy sauce, pickles radishes, pickles, and broccoli. The kimchi was so good that we asked for more. We couldn’t stop eating everything when it arrived—definitely come here super hungry.

The chicken had a very smokey flavor to it, just a bit of a heads up. I wasn’t expecting that and although it was delicious, it’s not a taste I’m very used to.

We can’t wait to come back and try more. Plus the grocery store had some fascinating items that we want to check out, too.

Also, the sweetest older women were waiting on our tables and ran the house. They were very kind and diligent.“

“some may call this place a “hidden gem” (literally in a small, unassuming place in a strip mall) & I would certainly agree! this is one of my fav places in this area to get quality & delicious japanese food! being from hawaii, I feel like I’m pretty picky about where I go & this place has my japanese mother’s approval as well. if any of this means anything to you, I’d say it’s pretty well vetted lmao.

I always recommend this place to people that want good quality asian food in (and around) portland, so make sure to go check them out!!

their menu is EXTENSIVE & I love it!! so many options to choose from. they have a whole sushi menu, bentos, ramen, & a whole bunch of appetizers and entrees that are hard to find elsewhere! also make sure to look at their specials posted near the sushi bar!

SEATING : not a ton of seats, but haven’t had trouble getting a table on a weekday. may need to make a reservation on the weekend.

“Best Thai I’ve found to date!

The restaurant was clean, quaint and cozy. Food was moderately priced and the service was perfect.

We started with spring rolls($8). I ordered Chicken Pad Thai($15) and he ordered the Crispy Fried Basil($18). I’ve had Pad Thai many places and this is the first place where I could taste the char of the wok. Truly the best I’ve found.

“My family all meet at Pho Oregon in Beaverton for dinner tonight, and since it was Our first time here at this restaurant and we were all super hungry so the time was perfect. Our table ordered a variety and everyone loved what they ordered. I had the Beef Stew with French Bread it was so good and with it starting to rain out when we got there it ended up being perfect. Pho was ordered, as well as a Crispy Seafood Noodle dish that both my Son and husband had. They both loved it! Such a variety and hits the stop just right!“

“First time here tonight for my mom’s birthday/ this place is so good, we are going to make it our go to place for Korean bbq from now on! First reason we love this place is because we finally found a Korean bbq place that’s not all you can eat! We have small children and elderly parents who don’t eat a lot- so it’s a huge plus. Second one is this place feels super new and clean , even the bathrooms were clean and smell good. Last but not least, staff were super friendly - everyone who served us was really nice and kind. “La Provence in Beaverton is our favorite location in this excellent chain, and we always enjoy their wonderful food when we are visiting the area. “A medium sized izakaya Raman shop perfect for an informal dinner.

The three appetizers we had were pretty good, the karage was crunchy and juicy on the inside. What the breading lacked in flavor the zesty Mayo made up for in character. 7.5/10

The ramen was served with excellent portions and at a normal Portland price, about 15 bucks before add-ons. I always add on an egg for good measure. My wife and I both ordered the signature ramen on the menu and it was good, somewhat mild in flavor but still rich. You can tell the tare is made in house and with care. 7.5/10

The service was excellent, considering the price and atmosphere of the restaurant. Wait staff were attentive in picking up plates that were used and quickly serving food. 9/10

The ambiance is nothing to write home about, this isn't a dining experience, this is your local delicious ramen spot. Now Beyonce was frankly unremarkable and that's okay. 6/10

All in all, if a friend wanted to check it out or wanted to eat there, I'd happily oblige. But I've got my own ramen spot closer to my house that I enjoy more so I won't be returning regularly.“
