Tried Kayo's for the first time. Excellent service by Heidi - extremely knowledgeable, offered great recommendations! Also the chef came by the tables to check in which was very nice. Food was phenomenal! I ordered the crab dish with artichokes, mushrooms, bernaise with the Gouda mashed potatoes. It was heavenly. My hubby ordered the New York pepper steak with fries. The cut was thick with a really good and tasty crust - that and the "pepper gravy" were delicious. Really good crisp fries - dipped those in the gravy and YUM!! Appetizer Cajun steak bites was very good. Dozen oysters on the half were good. Dessert special - bourbon bread pudding was very nice. Overall excellent service and incredibly good food. Our tab was less than usual compared to Ariana, Bos Taurus, even Zydeco. Only funny thing is it's in an old Elmers building so it has that distinctive floor plan. Easy to overlook (if that's a negative for you) when food and service is so good. Will be back! They know they need a cocktail list and will have one soon. Having to come up with my own drink request off the top of my head, I ordered a Tito's dirty martini with blue cheese olive and it was great!

At first glance, Kayo's is certainly not impressive. The building and even the hostess's attire seemed more like what you would expect from a Denny's sort of place. But after we were seated, everything was superb. All of the food we ordered was delicious. My husband had the scallops that were one of the day's specials, and I had crab-crusted halibut--so good!

Everything about this restaraunt was amazing. First and foremost I want to recognize the staff...very attentive, friendly, personable and accommodating. Every person that was working while I was there should get 5 stars for their service, plus the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I am new to the area and love exploring all of the great restaraunts Bend has to offer-and so far I am the most impressed with this place. Aside from the service and atmosphere, everything on the menu looked amazing. I went during happy hour and ordered pasta (which was so good, and their happy hour menu is the best I have seen in awhile). Steaks and other entrees are more pricey, but that comes with the territory of a good restaraunt. The couple sitting across from me said that their prime rib was the best they had ever had. And their waitress comped dessert since it was their anniversary. I have been in the customer service industry for over 20 years, and this place sets the standard for good food and amazing service. I will be back, and I will recommend and take my friends to Kayos!

I was searching for the perfect meal and found it along with great service and ambiance. I really love to find dining experiences that represent the heart of a city and not so much what's hot and new. Thank you Kayo's for giving me a delightful and memorable dinner. Make this a must try restaurant, the lounge is great excellent menu, and full dinner service. Thank you Kayo and your awesome staff.

Service was top notch and the food was delicious. Highly recommend
Another amazing dinner prepared by Kayo and his great team. Filet Oscar was as tender as can be, cooked to perfection, and the flavor was perfect. The Chicken Jerusalem was incredible as well. Our son Ty treated us to a great evening enjoying the talents Kayo puts into each meal served.

Best happy hour in Bend. Yesterday I had .50 kumimoto oysters and they were awesome. Best coconut shrimp ever.
