Kayo's Dinner House & Lounge

Tried Kayo's for the first time. Excellent service by Heidi - extremely knowledgeable, offered great recommendations! Also the chef came by the tables to check in which was very nice. Food was phenomenal! I ordered the crab dish with artichokes, mushrooms, bernaise with the Gouda mashed potatoes. It was heavenly. My hubby ordered the New York pepper steak with fries. At first glance, Kayo's is certainly not impressive. The building and even the hostess's attire seemed more like what you would expect from a Denny's sort of place. But after we were seated, everything was superb. All of the food we ordered was delicious. My husband had the scallops that were one of the day's specials, and I had crab-crusted halibut--so good!

Everything about this restaraunt was amazing. First and foremost I want to recognize the staff...very attentive, friendly, personable and accommodating. Every person that was working while I was there should get 5 stars for their service, plus the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I am new to the area and love exploring all of the great restaraunts Bend has to offer-and so far I am the most impressed with this place.
