We have gone to LaRosa's for years and always had good food and service. Today (April 11th), my wife and I went there for lunch around 11:30AM. The food was not good. I had 2 ground beef enchiladas and my wife had the quesadilla. The ground beef in the enchiladas had way to much sauce on it. The quesadilla did not have much cheese and also had bacon bits (never hear of bacon bits on quesadilla). The service was VERY, VERY slow, even though there were not that many people in the restaurant. It'll be a while before we go back and spend $$$ for sub par food and service.

Our server seemed new, he must have had more tables than he could really handle because he wasn't as attentive to us as he should have been. The restaurant wasn't busy, so ambience was low. The food was fine. We generally are satisfied with La Rosa—but it's not great, just average like most places in town. It's hard to nail service, food and ambience. On their best night I would give them a 4 across the board.
