Good basic breakfast food USA style, but more importantly good basic service. Friendly, lots of regulars in the crowd, many older like me, but a younger crowd as well. Just a nice place.
Excellent food excellent service! The waitress didn’t miss a beat! The reason for the 4 star is because they need to do a better job at answering the phone. I almost didn’t come in due to the rude way they answered the phone when I called to see if they were doing dine in since the website says they are not! Growing up in Bend, Sergeant's Cafe is just part of the landscape, something That has always been and always will be. I remember sitting at the counter with my dad drinking a hot chocolate with whipped cream on top and ordering a butter horn with a huge smile on my face. I love that Sergeant's Cafe has never changed. This is a taste of old bend one of the last real landmarks and always a destination for my family and I on a weekend excursion over the mountain.
