Had their 2 meat sampler with sides on a Saturday afternoon. Incredibly slow service after ordering although the place was not full--nearly an hour to get picnic-style food in small portions. Meat and sauce were tasty although I've had better, tater tots okay, coleslaw disappointing, and beans awful. Cheerful fellows running the place but evidently very inefficient. Worth neither the price nor the time unless you like to watch the helicopters and planes come and go.

Great bbq for the price. Also fun watching the air planes come and go

I don't know how they got the awards but I can't even call it BBQ! Brisket was tough as a shoe leather and had no flavor the only good thing about this place was their season tater tot's don't waste your time in my opinion

Very good sandwiches. Set your own table and order at the counter. Kind of 1/2 fast food and 1/2 restaurant .

Great BBQ. Very causal atmosphere with good food.

Absolutely worst bbq I have ever had. The brisket is super dry and very tough. The side salad was literally a handful of lettuce and nothing else... so disappointed.

This place is for real. I got the Big Pig Sandwich, and I legitimately didn't know pulled pork could be this good. It wasn't smothered in sauce and wasn't at all dry either. The sausage was the perfect complement to the pork - enhancing the sandwich and not detracting from it. I'm used to adding sauce to sandwiches like this, both for flavor and moisture, and this sandwich needed none at all. I got Cajun tots because I will always get Cajun tots if it's an option. I was super happy to see them. The coleslaw was just ok, certainly didn't ruin an otherwise superb meal. The restaurant was clean, open with lots of light, we'll laid out, and staff were friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in town.

This is literally the word bbq I have ever had. The brisket is so tough and dry it tastes like overcooked roast beef. The portions are tiny for the cost and the sides are a joke! (See photo of "salad"). VERY disappointed considering we spent $50 to have this delivered and are literally throwing it in the trash.

Amazing lunch! The pulled pork and beans were among some of the best I’ve ever had!

I was really excited to try this place, because I've read such great things about it. I made a reservation for my Mom's birthday, but I am not at all clear on why they take reservations ... it's first come, first served and find your own table. Nor do you have a server; you place your order at the counter, they bring your meal, and you get your own drinks. I was disappointed when the man at the counter (said he was the son of the owner) didn't know the difference between the breaded chicken option or the smoked chicken option for the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. I chose the breaded option. It was a very thin (like - REALLY- thin) breaded patty. Certainly didn't taste homemade. It was also served with a splatter of BBQ sauce ... on the chicken cordon bleu ... weirdest thing ever. It didn't taste bad ... but it definitely wasn't something I would order again. I opted for the parmesan garlic tots - they were ok - but again - very disappointed that the parmesan used was the powdered kind - the least pleasing of all parmesans. My husband was kind to share a bite of his pork with BBQ Sauce from his sandwich and it was really good. I would definitely order that next time. He also opted for the mac and cheese as a side - which he allowed me a taste - it was quite good. I have heard their prime rib is great and I did enjoy the bites of my husband's meal that he allowed me to have ... so I am definitely interested in going back. Apparently they shine with their BBQ ... which is good - cause their chicken cordon bleu should be removed from the menu or revised.

Been 2x(first time horrible, second time not even close to good) not going back, very sub par breakfast. Lots of True local joints that are exponentially better

Fun spot to eat and watch aircraft takeoff and go to many unique places. The food is good but the price is on the more expensive side. Each dish is around 16$ so be prepared to spend a little extra.

I'm always on the hunt for decent barbeque in Bend, having spent 10 years in the South where good barbeque is easy to find. The Pickled Pig is not it. This restaurant is located at the Bend Airport and has a good view of the runways. The people seemed friendly enough, showed us where the menus were and left us to peruse. I ordered the Big Pig, which was pulled pork and slice sausage on a bun with the choice of 2 sides, I got the spicy coleslaw and the mac and cheese. Food was delivered within 15 minutes and the visual reaction was disappointing. The mac and cheese was supposedly made in house but it looked old and dried out, not creamy, all the cheese was congealed in the bottom of the plastic cup. The coleslaw was supposed to be spicy but no spice was to be tasted. There was a good helping of meat on the sandwich but the meat was dry and not very flavorful. Plenty of ribbons and awards hanging on the wall, I have trouble seeing those awards having come from the type of food I was served.

I really wanted to like this place but couldn’t.

Cubano was very good and their parmesan garlic tots were amazing! Highly recommend stopping in and watching the planes take off
