Ordered Philly cheese steak sandwiches. Was supposed to be thinly sliced beef. It was shredded beef and no flavor. That is a problem when you advertise sliced and use shredded beef. It was obvious they used a different product. Sliced doesn't come apart like this was.Ordered calamari with no tentacles. We asked the server if the calamari came with tenticles that we didn't like them. She assured us they didn't use them. Just rings. Wrong. Most of the calamari was tentacles and rubbery over cooked for sure. She said later she didn't know about the calamari if it had tentacles or not. If she didn't know she should have taken a second and asked the cook before she took that order. It wasn't busy at all there so shouldn't have been a problem. We substituted one of the fries for Mac and cheese. No flavor. It tasted like a thick milk gravy with yellow food coloring. The Mac and cheese was supposed to be in place of garlic fries first ordered. We got the Mac and cheese, the way over garlic French fries that were awful and no fries on the other Philly. Returned the food. The saving grace of the whole episode was the bartender Josh. He reissues the gift card we used. Was polite and was saddened by the situation hoping we would return and give it a try again.

We got orders to go. Ordered 2 Philly cheese sandwiches since we hadn't had one in years. Menu said thinly sliced beef... that was the first disappointment. It was shredded, dry and tasteless. The next disappointment was the fried calamari. Again, haven't had this in awhile. We asked if it was the just rings or was the tentacles mixed in since we don't like them. We were told just rings. There were 11 tentacles and the rest were rings and over cooked. Calamari is deep-fried for less than a minute or it will turn to rubber. It was way over cooked. Third disappointment was the mac & cheese. NO flavor what so ever. A little salt and pepper makes a huge difference. As well as cheese. Didn't even taste like cheese. Just a yellow creamy roux. Next one, garlic fries had so much raw garlic on it and non palatable. Garlic should have been sautéed slightly too give it a better garlic taste. Raw garlic causes a very intense flavor. We were very disappointed!! Heads up, ALWAYS check your food before you take it home. We didn't.You need to have updated descriptions on your menu. Your staff should be educated to know what is being served to your guest.Good thing I didn't bring my wife here on her birthday which is what I had originally planned. To try some place new. That would have been a disaster. The only saving grace was Josh. We brought back the food to show him the poor quality that we had and he offered to make new food but we didn't. Told him, that's ok. So he took care of the situation. That was a huge plus. He was very pleasant and extremely understanding.I have been a chef for over 35 years. Will we be back????

This restaurant is becoming one of my favorites in Bend for lunch. They’ve now added breakfast and it’s an amazing value. Great locals spot.

Visiting from out of town and came here during winter fest. Restaurant was entirely empty which gave me pause but damn good food! Carter was the cook and he threw down in the kitchen. I got the Cajun cod penne and the fish and chips. Every single piece of food that came out of the kitchen was ?. Then we paid a compliment to the server (Jamie) which she communicated to Carter and he hooked us up with some donuts! All around 5 star experience. Coming back every time I'm in Bend.

The food was average at best. The service was slow and very inaccurate. They took a long time to take drink and food orders. They came back and confirmed drink orders 3 times while we're there amungst us and 2 other guests. I don't think I've ever even seen that even once before anywhere. It was a Saturday night, so I cut them a little slack. Buy that was an opportunity to shine and they faded. Would not recommend this place on a Saturday night.

Great little pub! The staff is the best around town! We met Josh and Elizabeth while working downtown and this has slowly become one of my favorite places to pop in! ❤️

Went here for a nice lunch. I saw the Philly Cheesesteak and ordered it expecting a well crafted, tasty sandwich. In short, my “Philly” hardly resembled a traditional “Philly” sandwich. The sandwich was very dry, had no cheese - instead it was a single drop of cheese “sauce”. The meat was not even steak, it was unseasoned shreddedbeef. We had to ask for more “cheese sauce” to make the sandwich even the slightest bit enjoyable.Besides the totally inaccurate Philly cheesesteak, the garlic and seasoned fries were actually quite good. Good beer, and an server who seemed like she cared, enough to bring us extra cheese sauce for our dry Philly.Overall, if you decide to eat here, perhaps order something else then the Philly.

This location has hosted a number of different casual eateries over the years, and the Point keeps that tradition going, with the emphasis on casual. The tap list is decent enough but by no means extensive, and while they have a full bar, it didn't throw off any groovy cocktail lounge vibes - it's more of an industrial-feeling sports bar than anything, with a bunch of small TVs and one giant one. That worked for us ...we really came in just to watch the game and have a snack. The fish tacos were not bad (decently sized) and the service was fine if somewhat indifferent, but their location is pretty plum, just adjacent to downtown without being smack in the middle of it. It's a better than average pub food experience but nothing spectacular so if you're looking for something a bit heartier, warmer or more upscale there are plenty of other options nearby.

I don't know, it was a little cold so kept bulky coat on. And service was a bit cold too but maybe we got off on wrong foot. I ordered off vegan menu and I was impressed - felt hearty and I didn't feel I was missing much
