They were out of things and the pop machine was broken. The young man making the sandwiches was sullen and unfriendly. Last time we stopped here we had a great sandwich and good service because the new owner served us.
The Clatskanie Subway is, to put it simply, the epitome of the dining experience. As soon as I entered the gleaming glass door way, I was immediately greeted by a wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread, and fresh organic vegetables. The staff were truly of the utmost quality, as if they had been trained at a fine French bistrot. I ordered my favorite, of course, the meatball marinara. The employee was kind and enjoyable which earned the 3rd star. It would appear they always have something broken or not available. The last order we tried with them was missing multiple items when we went to pick it up, no one would have noticed it I didn't say something about it. We won't go back which is sad, we enjoy a properly operated Subway but this one isn't it.Vegetarian options: You can get pretty much any Sandwich without the meat.Parking: Large and free lot
