Best focaccia bread I have had. Cookies and sourdough are also very good. Prices are reasonable. Only a couple of parking spots and they are angled to make you feel like you're driving the wrong way in the parking lot. If you want your pick be there at 1 because the bread is so good that restaurants get it shortly after baking.

The tiny bakery behind the Tokyo Bistro restaurant is a hidden gem. The breads are made fresh every day they are open. Sourdough bread is ready early in the morning and the focaccia is ready after that. The prices are comparable and the staff was friendly and informative.

Found this gem while walking our dog around the neighborhood. Nothing beats fresh backed quality bread. The Focaccia is to die for and Sam the owner is the best!

We were looking for a bakery that makes rye bread with caraway seeds. We stopped in here several times looking for rye and were told that it was only made once a week. After several attempts we were finally told that the only rye that they made was a sourdough rye. According to my husband it was TASTELESS. I thought that the bread had a weird flavor and did not taste like rye or sourdough. If I could give this place zero stars I would have done so.

This place does some commercial baking for other businesses in the area. They have a small rack at the front of their bakery with some products. I looked around town for some fresh bread, and I couldn't find any. I stopped here on a whim, and I am so glad I did. For bread made in America, I thought it was very well done. A lady standing next to me so you have to try the cranberry walnut bread. I was there for some sourdough, so perhaps next time

great sourdough sandwich bread. The bakery was closed on Sunday but answered th phone and told me of a retail location. I was able to purchase the last two loaves at that coop. usually buy the bread in Bandon but they were out of stock for 2 days.

I cannot give them enough stars... Their sourdough is the most perfect, extra sour, soft, perfect crust ever... they have ruined all other sourdough for me... NOTHING compares... then you have the cranberry walnut sourdough... OMG... PERFECT... I live in central Oregon and it pains me that I can't get my Empire sourdough bread whenever I need it...which is every day. I called to ask if they would ship it to me and they don't ship their bread... Thank you, Empire Bakery, for making the most perfect sourdough ....

They make the most perfect sourdough ever! It's extra sour, soft, and you can't get enough, well I can't anyway. They make perfect cranberry walnut sourdough that is my favorite. Their sourdough has ruined me from any other because nothing comes close to theirs...NOTHING.. I live in Central Oregon and if I could just get them to ship me my sourdough... lol
