This team has a heart for hospitality and took great care of us. There is a lot to be said for management investing in staff with experience, and you can see, taste and feel that at Castor these days. Besides these special occasions meals, I’ll just pop in for a casual lunch, or a happy hour drink and snack at the bar and enjoy the same level of hospitality. It’s one of those “third spaces” we all need in our lives. Get out and spend time with your people and don’t worry about cleaning up your house. And oh my that cornbread tres leches cake was divine!”

The menu is compact but there is something for everyone. We didn't try the desserts but they looked really good based on the menu descriptions. I have only one negative comment; It was very noisy inside. I'm not sure if that was due to acoustics of the room or unduly noisy patrons but it was difficult for our party to have a conversation.”

“Last night was our first experience and it was just me and my 6 year old son. We didn’t have a reservation and wanted to do the teppanyaki, so I told him before we went in that we might have to wait a little bit dependent on how busy it was and if they needed to fill the rest of our table (the teppanyaki tables seat 8, so I figured they would wait until more people came). They sat us right away and we received service right away. They are quick to check on how everything is and clear your dishes from all the pre-dinner foods. To our surprise, Chef Charlie came out and did our teppanyaki dinner for just the two of us. He was funny, patient (when my son accidentally threw one of the props further than expected), and made sure we would like all the flavors he was using while cooking. We had an absolute blast. My son told me it was the best night of his life. Even a server who was not serving our table came over to ask my son how he liked the show. Very sweet establishment, great service, yummy food and awesome people. We will definitely be back.”

“I am gluten intolerant, and my mom, who has Celiac, discovered 4 Chicken & Waffles a few months ago, and now it is our go-to. We eat here several times a month, and it is sooo good. The plates are abundant, and between two of us, we had ordered enough for four, but the leftovers were delicious. I've already plotted what we're going to get on our next order.”

“Lovely selection, my only gripe is that they consistently omit toasting my bagels. They’ll be warm from the oven so the workers assume, even if you specifically ask for it to be toasted, that toasting isn’t necessary. But I think it’s important to note that warm and soft from baking is not the same as crisp and crunchy from the toaster! Make sure if you want your bagel toasted that you watch them actually put it through the toaster🙈”

We drove all the way back to town from Archer to get it again tonight. Strawberry puffle with extra strawberries, mini stroop waffles and vanilla gelato. 20/10 would recommend. Also, as someone who is lactose sensitive, gelato is way easier on my stomach than ice cream!”

“Raised in San Diego I wasn’t sure what I’d get at La Rockita in Corvallis Oregon. Reading the Trip Advisor reviews of the best Mexican food places in the area, I decided to eliminate Taco Vino and visit La Rockita due to SaintJames57 review, and I’m sure glad I did! I was looking forward to a clean and quick lunch but not lacking in flavor. Enter La Rockita which hit on all fronts but comes up a bit short on the overall authenticity of Mexican cuisine…BUT they surprised me in being damn close! The selection was good and the flavor was A-. Decent salsas and drinks were on par however their A+ grade lands solidly in the customer service department. My wife and I were greeted warmly and the gentleman taking our order offered to correct an order error that I screwed up at no charge after our meal was delivered. We appreciated the kindness but insisted it was our error however he still accommodated us with extra corn tortillas which really enhanced my lunch plate. If anyone in the restaurant business needs a lesson in the (lost) art of customer service then visit La Rockita on 9th not only for really good food at a fair price but also for the hospitality.”

“Best taphouse in the Corvallis/Albany area. There are always new beer selections and there are at least a few beers of each type (i.e. IPA, stout, lager, etc.). The staff is friendly and helpful. The new outdoor area is also well done and super cozy. 100% recommend stopping by for a drink. You can also bring in or order outside food.”

(paid with debit) The food was good but not hundreds of dollars good. not a happy customer. Update: Went in when they opened, told there was nobody that could do anything except maybe the manager when he is in, no answer as to when he would be in, just call and check if he is there then drop what I am doing to go there. For the record this is the 3rd time this exact thing has happened to me at the Corvallis location, makes me wonder how many people don't catch double charges from them........... Update: The manager finally talked with me and said he would refund the extra charges. How ever I get a new notice of duplicate charges. He did refund me one of the charges AFTER he charged my account AGAIN.”

“Our family of five had dinner at Little Morocco last night. The owner and server were super friendly and warm, the food was excellent- especially for the price- and the service was thoughtful and efficient. We had the Mezzanine Plate, Chicken Shwarma, Lamb Shwarma, Secret Sandwich, and four smoothies. Sat outside in the fresh air, shared food, and had a great time. Highly recommend.”

“I have been getting dried chilis and spices from Pilos for a while as they have a great variety and the best prices. When my birthday came around my wife asked me what kind of dessert I wanted. I love Tres Leches cake and I suggested calling Pilos. I’m so glad she did as it was delicious! Not only were they able to make it with a days notice but they also did a great job decorating it. They are always so kind and helpful. Just be sure to bring cash!”

Really wisb they had just put that on the side like a garnish. . The beets,cheese and candied pecans were if course delicous but i wouldn't buy the salad again unless they decide to use baby spinach or arugula or some sort of small leaf mix rather than those giant scraggly leafs . Will return for a latte and the baked goods look next level.”

“Love it. We took a break from take n bake for a while, but we've been going here weekly. Order on the website and you can pick up from the rack by the door. Usually our order is ready before the time given online.We recently tried the cheesy bread, and it's a winner. Could easily add to every order.As far as the pizzas go, we've been happy with the cheese or pepperoni, especially because they often have deals running. These are good to stick in the freezer and cook from frozen as well. Just need to add more cooking time. I sometimes pull them out and let them rest for a few minutes and then stick them back on a pizza stone in the oven to crisp up the bottom some more. If you don't rest them, the cheese can burn.All around, good pizza and good value, especially as there are not many pizza options in SW Corvallis/Philomath.The Dairy free create your own is also a really nice choice for our youngster who is intolerant to dairy/lactose.”

My usual go-to is basil fried rice (as spicy as they can make it - I LOVE that they have a spice level built into their menu when ordering online) and it did not disappoint. The crispy veggie rolls and the veggie pot stickers are pretty good, too! Will definitely be ordering from here again!”

“I was able to book my elopement celebration at Clodfelters with little notice. Hunter and the crew went so far above and beyond to provide a space for our rowdy crowd! And made many accomodations for us to ensure we had a special day! and it was so much more than special. we were meant to have a few hiccups that led us to Clodfelters because it was better than we imagined! I cannot recommend Clodfelters enough for events, or even just drinks and dinner. the vibe is amazing, the staff are incredible, and the food is fantastic!!”

“I work in an office and we had an order for several Yumm bowls. We tried to run our order through GrubHub and due to an error, the order was set for pick up not delivery. After waiting a very long time I called Cafe Yumm! directly and spoke to either the manager or owner. He said GrubHub was a 3rd party service and there wasn't much they could do to change the order on their end, but that he'd be happy to run our order out to us!! He was here within 20 minutes, food in hand. We were all BLOWN AWAY by this excellent customer service, especially considering the error wasn't the fault of Cafe Yumm! “Until today, I hadn't had subway in many years. Today, I ordered a sandwich, and it was very good. The meat didn't taste like it had 2 cups of salt in it (that's a huge plus). The person making my sandwich was nice, but alternated between touching my food and the cash register. I understand time is often in play in all decisions, but basic health and hygiene require a person to finish handling my food before touching the register. I was just shocked to see him touch my food, handle the register, and then handle my food to finish making my sandwich. That is just gross!!! I still gave 5 stars but if I go back, and this happens again, I will change this to a1 star and will never come back. I'm so grossed out over the filthy handling of my food that it will be a long time before I go back. You get the 5 stars because the person was pleasant and the product was decent enough. Train your employees on basic hygiene and food handling though.”

Tasty boba tea and they're open a bit later than Bobahead down the street which is why we searched it out! ???? “This is the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

Upon walking in the door my friend and I were immediately greeted. There were at least three members behind the counter and there was no wait to order. The interaction with staff was pleasant and upbeat, the wait for food and drinks was not long. The food and drinks were perfect temperature. The seating was comfortable and a great place to get together. I was able to see staff from where I sat and everyone stayed very busy assisting customers, and often cleaning up during any down time, they also greeted every customer coming in often by their names. The calming jazz like music was perfect for a relaxing time. If I lived closer this would be my go to coffee spot.”

“Went to the Starbucks downtown Corvallis to pick up customer order it was poorly put together in the back which it leaked all over when I got to customers home. I went to the closer Starbucks to get order due to the other Starbucks posing a rotten disposition when I explained that it had dumped everywhere. They weren’t willing to offer assistance at first. The two ladies who helped me this morning were quick, thorough, professional and empathetic about the circumstances I was experiencing! The 3rd St Starbucks is not good or needs to get better help who addresses situations in an appropriate manner and doesn’t act out or appear irritable with the customer.”

“In the past few months this location has consistently had all varieties of bread in-stock when I ordered and the quality of the bread has gone up measurably.

This location is consistently out of whole-grain wheat bread. I used to eat here daily but within the last month or two they have been out of the only bread I eat around 50% of the time making this a coin flip for a wasted trip. Also the quality of the bread is poor compared to other locations.”

“Woodstock's is at the top of my short list of loved pizza establishments. As a lactose intolerant individual I have limited options as dough, sauce, and toppings often contain dairy, in addition to the cheese. That said, the folks over here are serving up delicious pies whether youre dietary restricted or not. A friend tried some of my DF pizza and loved it.

The crust is an art in itself, and the open kitchen allows you to watch as the masterpiece is assembled. If anyone you're with doesn't walk in with an appetite, by the time your creation hits the oven they will have aquired one.

The interior has super high ceilings, and while the decor and booths give a cozy feel, the ceiling height keeps it from feeling small, a really balanced atmosphere of dining in.

It's 1.5hr away from home, but anytime we are in the area it's a must to grab their largest pizza and bring some back.

Do yourself a favor and skip the chain this week and try Woodstock's. You won't regret it.”

“8/4/2021 Best Chinese food in the valley hands down! We pickup a take-out order 3-4 times per month, sometimes more. HOWEVER, they seem to be slipping a little bit lately. The sweet n sour chicken was rock hard, literally crunchy. My Wife was shocked as it’s always good. Everyplace has an off day, hopefully this was a one time thing. Warning! Apparently they only add soy sauce in the “to-go” bags if you specifically ask for it. Bizarre! Who doesn’t use soy sauce on Chinese food. We love Queens Chopsticks. By far the best we’ve found in Corvallis/Philomath. Highly recommend. A little spendy, but worth every penny…most of time.”

The roast duck is some of the best I've ever had, I really like the egg foo young, and there's plenty of meat in the special fried rice. This is the top notch Chinese restaurant and the prices are about the same as ordinary Chinese restaurants”

“Definitely worth it! The food was delicious, although a bit colder than I would have wanted. The spice level was on point and the pick up process was smooth. Sit-in options are also available but you might have to wait a bit if visiting during busier times.

Parking: There is a parking lot in the square but can be packed at times. Choose your time wisely.

Kid-friendliness: I visited at night so the restaurant was a bit loud, I wouldn't recommend for kids. I'm sure it's a bit more chill during the day.
