Maybe they were having an off day. Only 3 tables were occupied during our visit. We had an early dinner. The service was terrible. Our server was too busy scrolling the Internet on his phone. Food was decent enough. Not sure I would go back honestly.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Oregon. I recently got back from Mexico City and think I prefer El Palenque here than many of the places I ate there. If you need more spice, ask for the habanero sauce!Parking: It's a shopping center, you'll figure out the parkingKid-friendliness: I think there's a kids menu, but not really a bunch of kids when I've gone

Love the spices they use! Not your typical no taste Oregon Mexican food. Would love to be able to order from a website!

Service was great! Food was really good, I had the enchiladas picantes and would definitely recommend them. A little heat and great pork.
Excellent food. The best chile relleno we've ever had. Service was friendly, prompt, helpful. Highly recommended.

Floors are super gross. Sticky everywhere. Food was good but overpriced. They charge for chips and salsa. Never heard of a Mexican restaurant doing this. The server never checked on us then when he did he went through this whole spill about him owning several restaurants. Really!?
