“Always good service and good food. I typically get the all you can eat soup & salad. The salad's are always fresh, large, and tasty. The seafood bisque soup is delicious! I'm waiting for them to open in a few minutes so we can eat there again tonight.“

“Went as a group of seven on a Saturday night. We were seated quickly, friendly staff took our orders, food arrived shortly after piping hot. All the food was prepared to order a seasoned well. I pleasant dinning experience. Have recommended to friends.“

“Fantastic Japanese restaurant in Cottage Grove! It's located on a quaint downtown street in a cute little complex across from its own Boba/Ice Cream shop, an antique store, and old-fashioned barbershop. We stopped here on our way to Seattle from San Francisco and it was such a wonderful oasis. The Ramen was so delicious - my husband had the Tonkatsu and I had the vegetarian. The noodles were perfectly chewy, and the toppings deliciously seasoned. We also had green tea which was served in a pot. It was high-quality looseleaf tea. Our son had the crispy fried chicken, which was served with rice and salad and he absolutely devoured it, although he's an especially picky eater! It was served with two delicious sauces. My husband tried to take some of his and there might've been a little fight. The service was outstanding. I'm already looking forward to the drive back down when we will stop here again!“

I imagine on a busy weekend night it could be difficult to find close parking. This wouldn't discourage me but it might bother some.“

“Another Delicious Meal and Great Experience @ Jack Sprats in Cottage Grove, OR. !! We were craving breakfast, but after the first bite, we're glad we showed up at 12 noon to try their lunch menu because it was oh sooo good! We cleaned our plates!! The meals were mouthwatering delicious and their homemade pickles, slaw, fries, onion rings were amazing! The service was exceptional and we felt seen and heard throughout our time here. “This is a locally owned business. All the food we have tried has been excellent. Generous portions & most of the stuff you can have a 2nd meal with. I love their Salads and I am picky when it comes to Ranch dressing and their ranch is very good.Vegetarian options: Their menu allows for modifications.“

“The Mar Far Chicken Batter here, has Little Green Onions in it!!! I am now officially HOOKED! The Chicken tasted like it is marinated in Vegetable Broth. So delectable! I also was very impressed with the amount of Mar Far Chicken I received in my order. It comes with steamed white rice, but for an upcharge of $1.95 you can get Pork Fried Rice instead. The Pork Fried Rice was good, but I will stick with Steamed White Rice next time, because I will admit, I have had tastier. My one complaint is that meals here, don't come with Egg Flower Soup &/or Tea. However the quality & tastiness of the delicious Mar Far Chicken, WAY made up for the absence of both. My dining partner ordered a #4 combination, which he said was good & tasty. His only complaint was that he wished there wasn't Crunchy Dry Noodle under the Pork Chow Main portion of his dish, because they didn't do so good with his dentures, which he thought might break. He said he was caught off guard. I explained to him that Chow Main is usually served over the Crunchy Dry Noodle, so next time, just have them omit them. Our server Sandy was an absolute ray of Sunshine & my leftovers today are just as good. I want to take friends to eat here, it's only a half hour drive away & worth the trip!“

“I visited with my elderly father and elderly dog. Sat them up front and ordered an array of smokey delights! Cooks and counter girl were very helpful and happy to answer my questions! I also ordered by the pound meats to take home to my husband and we loved everything! Thank you for old school, hand made, delicious food with love!“
