“lived in Oregon for so many years and would see the billboards as I drove down south. until this year I've finally stopped in and every time I do I always leave happy. the butter horns are my favorite! and just bought a ciabatta loaf yesterday and it's already gone! anything I've purchased is always delicious.”

“Very good menu. Great coffee. They are very accommodating on special orders. Only complaint is my wife's breakfast was very cold. Cold eggs, cold potatoes, and cold toast. I really wish restaurants would heat up the plates for hot food and chill for cold foods. I love going to a Mexican restaurant because you're last bite of food is still hot as your first. LoL. We will definitely give it another try and hope for the best.”

“Wow, awesome experience. Our only complaint was not finding this restaurant 18 months ago when it opened. Wait staff was excellent, the kind who remembered your order and never wrote down a single item. Sommelier was very helpful. Home made pasta dishes were the best in the city hands down, and to top it all off, price point was very good ! We felt at home in the rustic Italian atmosphere and were very impressed with selections. Will be returning very soon. Highly recommend, 5 out of 5.”

I also enjoy the fact that they call if they may think something isn't right with order or they call when things on their end may not be running so smoothly. “Mazatlan is MUCH better than the previous Mexican restaurant in this building. The food is better and more varied, and they give you some free - and delicious - queso dip with your complimentary chips, something I've never seen done at a Mexican restaurant before (out of the maybe 20-ish I've been to). Their ground beef is especially flavorful and has a very good texture, definitely among the best I've ever had. The chairs are beautifully and colorfully painted and really give the place a bright atmosphere, though table side napkin dispensers would be a welcome addition. The service is pretty good, and my food was ready surprisingly quickly each time I've been.”

“This place has the most amazing food. Lunch after a round of golf took me by surprise. I had a hotdog, a "hotdog!". Obviously, the dog and the bun were nothing unusual. But it was dressed with some really good stuff. (I won't go into details, you'll have to see for yourself.)”

“We bought 2 burritos, one was al Pastor the flavor is the authentic Mexican flavor and the carne asada was very well condiment, the salsa roja is one the best I ever had, customer service was really good and friendly, we're from from Reno Nevada and we are glad we stop at this place to have an excellent lunch.”

“My son and I had a long day in Eugene at the doctor’s and needed something to eat real fast. The new McDonald’s is such a nice change; it’s fairly small but extremely modern, especially compared to the neighboring McDonald’s. It seems to be a mainly kiosk electronic-style ordering, but that isn’t a problem. The worker, Madison, was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end, from opening the door for us to checking on us mid-meal. I witnessed her even helping older folks figure out the ordering machines 10/10, Madison !!!”

“Good local fast food. I don't know what all the service related reviews are about, native here and have had 0 issues with anybody since it's opening. Portion sizes are more than appropriate, and it's just an overall better tasting Taco Bell then other locations I've been to.”

“Went there tonight for my birthday and for the first time. The ambiance: amazing! Went with the family and it’s so cozy in there! The service: super attentive. Our server was very knowledgeable about every part of the menu and explained it thoroughly. Really cool pronunciation of all the menu items (I butchered everything 😂) The food: OMG, the food! We shared a margherita pizza and a seasonal polenta appetizer —it was fresh and amazing. I had the seasonal mushroom ravioli with a truffle cream sauce. My partner had the squid ink pasta. His parents each had one of the chicken dishes. We then shared two chocolate forward desserts. We left stuffed and happy. Our server kept apologizing for the speed of service but we were very happy to just chill out and visit and enjoy it all. My partner and I look forward to returning and enjoying this establishment again as a couple. I highly recommend it!”

“We were passing through Eugene from WA to CA. What a nice and delicious surprise for us, when we found The Coco Nut vegan restaurant. Food and drinks were stunning. They let us in with our dog because outside was very hot. Everyone got sweet and free ice cream samples including or golden doodle 🥰. Great personal and menu. If you are around, you should definitely try them out !”

“Driving by, my omni family didn't suspect much of Acorn Community Cafe but stepping inside was inviting and the menu was full of locally produced and fresh made treats. Forward thinking policies re: takeout, tipping. I had the bbq soy curl sandwich with delicata squash, and enjoyed the soft baked bread that was obviously hand made with love. We cleared each plate we ordered and left full and satisfied 👍 I wish I got pictures of everything as it came out because it looked as good as it tasted!”

“Waverly not only saved my life tonight but my child’s. We walked in tonight and my pregnant wife and I were waiting so long. The smell of the chicken must have been so scrumdiddilyumchus that my unborn child decided it was time! Her water broke and we needed immediate help but no one knew what to do. Besides Waverly! He hopped over the counter shoved me aside and helped my wife give birth to my child safely. The most impressive part was he had a broken arm in a cast! This is a night I will never forget and thanks to you Waverly my family is safe and full. I have decided to name my child Dave. God Bless this Dave’s Chicken and God Bless Waverly!”

“The food was amazing, perfectly cooked. But there were ants all over our table and where the flowers were, that was kind of gross. It was also really cold by the window. Otherwise everything was great. :)”

“Delicious food. The kind of place that a week later your body will begin to crave eating there again and the cravings won’t stop until they’re satisfied with a return visit. Warning: your clothes and your hair will stink like grease and oil when you leave so don’t wear your fancy clothes to eat here because you’ll be on the hook for dry cleaning and in desperate need of a shower after your meal. You’ll definitely have to wash your hair to get the stink out. Worth it though.”
