“We were on the way home from our road trip and this restaurant was the closest to the hotel so we thought we tried it. The foods was not bad, not too authentic for my Asian standards. Service was ok since she was doing multiple tasks (host and server) . The ambiance was kind of run down which we didn't mind since we came to do a quick dinner not looking for fine dining experience . Overall it was good experience and will return if we're near the area.“

“This restaurant is small but if you haven't eaten here, make plans! The sesame balls and red bean paste buns are stellar. The green beans will make you weep with joy. The Kung Pow is to die for and the fried rice is addictive. The won ton soup is good and the hot tea is crazy good, and doesn't need sugar at all. Just pull the tea bag out of the cup and enjoy! They're gonna need a bigger location once the word gets out!! Every single tome I've eaten there, it's scrumptious! Even my mom loves it!!“

“This place is so cute, absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly . Their egg flower soup was the best I’ve had in Eugene, their portions were HUGE and absolutely mouthwatering as well. 10/10 I’m telling anyone who will listen to try them!“

“I've only had their food delivered through Grubhub, but I have had it delivered dozens, and dozens of times! As far as the munchies go, this place is amazing. In no way is this fine or even decent date night dining. But my goodness their fried cream cheese wantons are delicious. They're General Tso is also pretty great. But here lies another big problem. I've ordered this dish at least two dozen times, each time asking they add broccoli. They've never once fulfilled this request. So keep your expectations to stoner and don't expect special orders and you will love this place.“

“Omg, wow, what awesome food! We had soup dumplings as an appetizer, garlic short ribs, and a mushroom shrimp dish, and everything was great - the veggies were just right, and the meat was just perfect. Wheelchair accessibility was great, no issues there.“

“Do yourself a favor and try the food here. I had the General Tso’s Chicken which had a light crispy coating that and tender in the middle. The sauce had just the right amount of spicy to sweet and was a tasty treat. Next up was the Sesame Beef and let me tell you it was so good. Great flavor with a nice crisp bite to delight the taste buds. Just the right amount of sauce to show the beef who’s boss. You get a lot for your money, probably enough to feed feed four here but I’m so greedy and it was so good that I smashed these both in 2 separate sittings. Comes with a side of jasmine rice that is light and fluffy, you can tell everything here is cooked to order as everything was so fresh. I will definitely visit again.“

“best Chinese restaurant in the area, hands down. great STICKY white rice and they don't put f-in peas and carrots in your fried rice! i don't know what's up with the other Chinese restaurants in town, they all add carrots and peas, and their rice is meh.. nothing worse than bad rice and overly americanized Chinese menus imo.i just wish they would come out with a LIGHTLY battered orange chicken and general TSOs, that would be money!“

The food is very consistent and fantastic, it has real offerings from a more authentic style Chinese cuisine, with a decent selection of ciders/beers/spirits.Personally would recommend the Custard Lava Bun if you like something sweet, and the Mushroom Braised Chicken entree.“

“This food really hits the spot when you are vegan looking for that greasy Chinese take out food from childhood. It's amazing flavors and the quality is extremely consistent. Fully vegan also! Which is rare in this area.I only wish they were open more - or updated their hours when they change them. I have actually had to manually input changes for their hours in google after several weeks of the new change.TAKE OUT ONLY.Dietary restrictions: Vegan.Parking: There are a couple of spots out front of the establishment but they are typically full. The parking lot across the street is paid parking and there is a parking garage half a block down. It indicates you should pay for that parking in the garage.“

“It's a BYOB kind of thing: Build Your Own Bowl! The ingredients bar was kept full and fresh; being refilled as we were getting started. The grill was being cleaned as we approached, all fresh for us. There is definitely an art to packing your bowl. I like to put the spinach in first, for example, because other ingredients will weigh it down, but if you try to put it in top it will be inclined to fall off the ever growing mound. Fear not; if your first bowl doesn't fill you up, you get a second bowl, but no to go containers for your second bowl, so only take what you can eat. ;-D I had a glass of red wine with my dinner. It was very nice.“

“The Mar Far Chicken Batter here, has Little Green Onions in it!!! I am now officially HOOKED! The Chicken tasted like it is marinated in Vegetable Broth. So delectable! I also was very impressed with the amount of Mar Far Chicken I received in my order. It comes with steamed white rice, but for an upcharge of $1.95 you can get Pork Fried Rice instead. The Pork Fried Rice was good, but I will stick with Steamed White Rice next time, because I will admit, I have had tastier. My one complaint is that meals here, don't come with Egg Flower Soup &/or Tea. However the quality & tastiness of the delicious Mar Far Chicken, WAY made up for the absence of both. My dining partner ordered a #4 combination, which he said was good & tasty. His only complaint was that he wished there wasn't Crunchy Dry Noodle under the Pork Chow Main portion of his dish, because they didn't do so good with his dentures, which he thought might break. He said he was caught off guard. I explained to him that Chow Main is usually served over the Crunchy Dry Noodle, so next time, just have them omit them. Our server Sandy was an absolute ray of Sunshine & my leftovers today are just as good. I want to take friends to eat here, it's only a half hour drive away & worth the trip!“

“Lok Yaun has been my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Eugene area for many years. I only wish their prices were lower so I could afford them more often. The food is great and the service is good. I'm not saying they are over priced. My salary just hasn't kept up with inflation. Like most everyone else's.Parking: The lot was large enough for the number of dinners at the times I have been there.“
