“I was really excited that the Pizzeria DOP food truck had opened a brick & mortar location, and Osteria DOP doesn't disappoint! The pizza is the same delicious pizza you could get at the food truck (it comes with scissors!) and they've added pastas and some appetizers to the menu. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was--and I can't emphasize this enough--the best Brussels sprouts I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'm not usually a big sprouts person, but these are crispy and flavorful and absolutely not to be missed. The ambiance was cool for a small space. They have a Chef's table where you can watch them make pizzas! There's also a small bar to sit at that faces a concrete wall; sounds kinda boring, but it's a good use of space and the food is good enough that I'd happily sit there. They stock Diet Coke in their fridge, too! It's a small space and the food is hella good, so you may have to wait. Worth it!“

I ordered ahead and it was ready for me.I enjoyed the artful bathroom, too!I ordered a custom pizza and would have wanted 2 more toppings but it only allowed 5 and cheese options counted as 1. I enjoyed the home-made meatballs althought they were not applied generosity and left me craving about 20% more. Same with the sauce. What was there was delicious, but I would have appreciated a more heavy application of toppings, personally. Wonderful flavors!I also ordered the puff bread and olive tapenade. Yum!! That portion was perfect. The bread is probably pizza dough which is a bit like an extra chewy na'an in texture but saltier in flavor.“
“Heard about this place for the first time last week on the radio, so thought we'd give it a try. We got pesto cheese bread and a half Hawaiian / half pepperoni pizza. The U of O track memorabilia transports you back to a time where the crowd at Hayward Field was jubilantly egging on the unstoppable “Pre”. We chose the whole wheat crust for the “Olympian” pie. Cheese is quality, the pepperoni used is quality and big NYC style which I personally love. Crust was not floppy, and the back crust bite was crunchy and had a snap.We got the garlic knots with cheese.. Found us needing take-out pizza at a reasonable price again, this time at this Cottage Grove location. They rocked it. I am thinking of a specific worker there who is always on his game when he provides service, especially overthe phone but hes also very friendly in person. Unfortunately I do not know his name but you would recognize him by his friendly greeting of "hi friend" in the twang of a beautiful customer service voice that is sometimes hard to bring forth if you've ever worked in the industry. I appreciate the positivity that radiates through the phone when he takes my order. He's been there for years and he has never ceased to provide optimal friendly service. I recommend the pegasus chicken. If you like pineapples on pizza I recommend adding pineapples to pegasus chicken.“

“Been here several times. First time I've filed a rating. We usually hit them up near closing time, and have both dined in and taken out. We usually order either a large 5 topping pizza of our own design, or a couple of sandwiches, but have tried other items, all of which we find to be really delicious. The real draw is the special deals at seriously reduced pricing. The staff have always been courteous and helpful, and when dining in, the seating is comfortable, and both the dining area and restrooms are clean. As for atmosphere, a couple of big screen TV's is about the extent of it. As we are on foot, there have been times when staff have bent the rules a little during inclement weather to allow us to dine in a little later than official closing time for the dining area, which was greatly appreciated (I'm in my 70's). I very seldom give 5 star ratings, believing there is always room for improvement, so I feel comfortable recommending this establishment without hesitation.“

We felt like she was put out that she had to help us and we didnt know tha menu. The customer service is friendly and amazing. My kids love the ball machine inside the front door! All in all a great place for family dining.
