“Headed over to Clackamas River Growlers after a long hike at Mt. Hood. We were aware the owners are deaf, as my wife is a sign language interpreter. Tried three beers, all very good. Owner was kind and takes pride in his business. Easy to communicate even if you cannot sign. There is a whiteboard to write on just in case. The vibe is great and everyone was super friendly. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try.“

“Neatest cleanest restaurant ever. Our server, Beverly, always knew exactly what we needed.We had fish and chips, salad. Beef barley soup and the best strawberry huckleberry cobbler al a mode ever. Mt hood even stuck his head above the cloud during our meal. Great experience after a hike at Milo McIver. We'll do this again. Thx for a great meal, Beverly and staff.“

“I was so sad to hear Bent Shovel closed their inside pub. This was a favorite spot of mine. The bartenders were always so friendly and bingo nights were always so much fun. Food was good, beer was good, atmosphere was good. I'll still visit the beer garden but I sure hope the inside opens again!“

“I work as a delivery driver at night. At the end of my shift, I was hungry and saw this restaurant. They were already open at 6 am. I ordered a cheeseburger. It was the best cheeseburger I've ever had in my life. The fries were so soft! I will definitely eat here again if I'm ever working in this area.“
