“I crave the pizza through the week. Caprese salad is amazing and so is their pepperoni pizza. Yes, I wish they were open more but the consistency of their pizza outweighs any bogus bad reviews about their hours. Top 10 best pizza places in the NW and possibly the best in portland!“

“First time here. Everything was delicious! But especially the downtown shrimp and grits. I can't wait to come back and try the uptown version. Our server was wonderful and the entire experience was *chef's kiss *! We live an hour and a half away, but I will make the special trip to come back. What a gem!“

“If only someone could figure how to get Russian food right! Oh wait, these guys just did! An innovative take on Russian cuisine, modernizing it while staying true to its essence. We had a very enjoyable experience here. The staff were great, offered insightful recommendations and were very professional. The food was amazing. The lobster olivieh (on the special menu) was a star! The Zakuskis both hot and cold were amazing. The wine list was great! You can't leave without trying some vodka obviously. The ironic Soviet decorations were spot on! I've included some photos here. I'd highly recommend this spot!“

“I tried two pastas. They had a special for 2 pastas and a bottle of wine for $40. That is the price a full dish on their menu. The tomato base pasta was heavy with anchovy and olives. The other is a cream sauce with mushrooms and parmesan. Classic dishes that are done perfectly. With great mixed drinks and service that come with fine dining, I can't wait to return.“

“They made up for their mistake. Mothers Day breakfast party of only 4, started out great, hostess, waitress were just great. Waitress took our order promptly. All is good so far. After 30 minutes, no food. After 40, no food. Our waitress forgot to put in our order. We continued waiting. 1 hour now, still no food. We asked again about our food to the manager. They kept saying, any minute now like if only a few minutes had gone by. Needless to say, we were very upset. Moms day breakfast ruined!!. Manager was under the impression that we had only been waiting just a few minutes . Miscommunication among staff. Not good. The only reason we stayed was because all other restaurants close by were already packed with people. Our food finally arrived and it was delicious, I wont lie. Excellent food. A few minutes later the chef came out to our table very, extremely apologetic and accepting their mistake on behalf of the restaurant and she made sure to make things right and really took care of us. This shows that this place cares about their reputation, their image, their customer satisfaction. After the whole ordeal, we left satisfied that staff made up for their mistake. We will still return to this restaurant next time we visit Portland. Food is great.“

“I wish I took a photo of the food but I ate it too quickly!I ordered it to go, and I didn't realize until I got home that they added a free order of mango sticky rice (which was delicious). Such sweet people. The staff were very friendly and helpful.I ordered curry and the drunken noodles. The portions are very generous, especially for the price! Everything tasted great. A solid Thai spot that I will definitely come back to!“

“I wish I can give this place a glowing review. I really wish I can. But a recent experience I had here was...Less than pleasant to say the least...Let me preface by saying that the pizza is great and the servers/front clerks are always pleasant. I feel so bad for them on weekend nights because they're usually swamped and have to deal with the impatient and rude UberEats drivers in the small front space. Going back to the issue with my last visit, I was physically pushed by a said UberEats/Doordash/what have you driver because, I was in his, "personal space". I was trying to get out of the way for a party that was picking up their pizzas. There were dogs, ubereats drivers, moms, dads; it was chaos. I'm a big guy and the the front space is tiny. I'm sorry that I had to get a little close to you for a few seconds, Mr. drama queen....Either way, after I glared at him for a few seconds, I went back to waiting for my order that ended up 30 mins late...It was a Friday night so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but come on. An hour for one 12" pizza? I was a pick-up order as well...That's a little much...However, the ladies working the front are always courteous and gave me a Blue Dart on the house. Like I said, the service is impeccable. Just do something about overcrowding in the front waiting space please...I would recommend calling beforehand to make sure your order is ready before going. But please be nice to the staff...They're so sweet and seem overworked. Other than that one gripe, keep up the good work!“

“Street Wok is an excellent choice if you’re looking for standard Chinese food done exceptionally well. All the regular go-to’s are fresh and well-flavored - sesame chicken, orange chicken, won-ton soup etc. The food is several notches above the usual fare you’ll fine in most US cities. Located in an unremarkable strip mall with basic, almost barren decor, it’s easy to miss. Most people seem to do to-go orders, and the dine-in experience includes a looping Chinese song that played a minimum 12 times during our 30 minute lunch :-)“

“No resys, just walk ins and it's busy but going earlier is always best or be prepared to wait a bit. It's more than worth it, the food is fire and with the portions it still feels like a lot but it's nice to try a little of everything. My favorite is the pesto and oyster mushroom pasta dish and the radiatore with lamb! Great wine selection as well. Quaint small and nice spot.“

“We were out last night looking for some new & interesting dining and discovered this really trendy eatery . There atrium was magnificent to dine in as we ordered an Italian charcuterie board for our starter. We followed with a tequila Negroni that was sooo goooood Next was a yummy dish of prawns in a buttery sauce - they were cut thin with the whole prawn wow!!! Great service from the dining staff and 4 sure a repeater for us. Bon Appetite Ronn just Ronn The hole in the wall food guy“
“Great low-key atmosphere, rain or shine! Family and dog friendly. Tons of outdoor seating, dozens of brews on tap, and several food truck options. We opted for brews and 1/4 slices of Ranch Pizza's pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Everything hit the spot, staff were kind and helpful, and on a Friday night there was live music on the patio. We'll certainly be back!“

“Went to Xin Ding for dinner. The vibe was giving sports bar, which was great for us because we had just finished a hike and were looking for a quick spot to eat. The food was good, the vegetable dumplings and the Pork Xiao Long were our favorite dumplings. The orange chicken and sesame chicken were ok, felt like they could have had a little more flavor. The chicken fried rice was really good! The portion sizes were huge which we always love lol. Service was great, the waiters were attentive and friendly.“

“2nd time in. First off.... GREAT service from Angel. They were extra friendly, helpful and attentive!! 5 star service!! My wife and I each had Americanos, which tasted great. We tried a two flavor cannoli (which Angel filled and brought out to our table). Pistachio at one end and Almond at the other. Yummy!! The Chocolate dipped Amaretti was flavorful and chewy.... again, yummy (bought several to take home). We also liked the sesame cookie, which was a bit like a Shortbread cookie. Now with coffee punch card in hand, we will be back more often.“

“We get to experience a lot of the Portland dining scene and we're grateful for that. Every once in a while a place hits different. The food is good, sure. And the drinks are good too. But in Portland for better or worse you're going to get pretty good food and good drinks. The places that hit different have a little bit of magic in them. It's the food. It's the drinks. And often it's an incredible, perfect mix of context and hospitality. We got to experience C'est Si Bon on a night that was our anniversary. The kids were at home with their grandparents. We were in no rush. We were ready to experience a new restaurant. And we just happened to luck out that John, the owner, took care of us. He took us on a tour of his menu, both food and wine, while regaling us with stories from a dozen years in Portland food and beverage and another decade in France. Chef was on point. John was a delight. And we ended up having an experience we couldn't have reserved and would've been unreasonable to hope for. It was a human experience, sprinkled with incredible food and wine along the way. We feel like we just discovered a not-so-secret gem of the Portland food scene a decade after moving to town. “We'll be back” feels like the understatement of the decade. Thanks John and Chef!“

“Ken's was superb. I went at 5pm on a Thursday. There was a bit of a line at first opening but there was no line or wait after all the tables were filled. The staff is incredibly friendly! We got the asparagus and bacon pizza and the calamari. The calamari was so good. I would not skip it! The tomato and bread adds so much flavor and the Calamari paired perfectly. The pizza took a little while to come but it was worth waiting a little bit. The asparagus is the perfect flavor and texture and the bacon is not crispy. I'm not a huge vinegar fan but the garlic vinaigrette on the pizza wasn't anything I couldn't handle. The crust was good. Be sure to check your face and teeth for burnt specks before you leave. There is plenty of seating and it was not too loud. It was beautiful inside. I see why this spot is such a big hit.“

“I have been wanting to try this restaurant for so long but they were only open for dinner. I happened to be in the area during the day and saw they were open for lunch and immediately ordered for pick up! I ordered the Greek salad and hummus. You can tell a lot by staple items. The salad was delicious, fresh and a good size. I could have dipped everything in the dressing! The hummus was a nice creamy consistency to go along with the delicious pita. Looking forward to coming back to dine in!“

“This place is great- it’s fresh, it’s fair priced, it’s healthy, it has 4 options menu what makes it better because food is prepared daily like the ones at home. The chef is such a friendly, polite and honest person that makes you feel welcome. Also it’s local and we support small family businesses.Vegetarian options: I ordered the kale with vegetables and I really enjoyed it! Highly recommended!“

“Was in Portland visiting from the East Coast - decided to check this spot out due to all the great reviews I see on Yelp! Spot was solid, definitely see why it's so popular. Got there roughly 5 minutes after the restaurant opened (5:05 pm). Because they just opened not too many people there so I grabbed a seat at the bar (which was empty). Glanced through the food and drink menu. Pizza's obviously their specialty, though they also serve calzones and salads. They also have a good selection wine, cider, and beer, including some local craft beer. Most draft beers were $7 with 64oz pitchers priced at $26, which seemed reasonable. I ended up ordering one of the local draft beers (forget which one). So they don't do slices here, but, even though they're not in the menu, they serve 12" pizzas, which are small enough for one person. You can build your own pizza or order one of the wide variety of "house" pizzas they offer. I ordered the 12" pepperoni and sausage pizza, which was priced at $17.50 ($15 for pepperoni pizza + $2.50 for sausage topping). The pizza came out fairly quickly and was great! I'd grade the pizza on the same level (though probably not QUITE as good) as some of the best pizza I've had in NYC (the pizza had a similar taste and feel, for example, as some of the pizza I've had at Lombardi's in Lower Manhattan). The pizza was very good, though did come out with a slightly burnt taste. The spot started filling up as I ate. Most of the patrons were dressed up, though the dress code is technically casual (I was dressed casually). They also had some classic videogames in a room across from the bar (Galaga, Pacman, Ms. Pacman, Donkey Kong, Frogger, among others), which was cool. The servers/bartenders were all friendly and on point with their service. Ate at a handful of restaurants in Portland, I'd say this one was the best. Would definitely recommend and I'll likely be back if I ever go back to Portland.“

“Everything was perfect. The attention to detail especially, emphasized with the timing of our appetizers and entrees to our drinks whenever we needed refills, was planned and well executed. Danny was a fantastic server who made my birthday really special, but the other servers that attended to us outside on the patio were equally friendly and attentive as well. The food was great. Would recommend and come back 10/10. Thanks for a great evening!“

“This is such a great local place that we often forget about. We're making an effort to stop in here more regularly. We came in hoping for pork chops but unfortunately came in on a night that they were sold out! We went with sandwiches and a burger instead and we weren't disappointed with any of them. The beef in the French dip was so good! The blt and cheese burger were also really great. We had the friendliest server chat with us for a few minutes and reminisced about the place for our teenager years. We were told there are new owners now, just recently acquired. As long as the food is always good we'll keep coming back.“
