Sweet little gem in Strafford! The staff are sweet, the coffee is great, the atmosphere is amazing! I would love to go to one of their music nights sometime!

Admittedly, not a fair or full review cause I only had coffee, didn't try any of the delicious looking home made sweets. For starters I just didn't get a calming feeling, I was the only customer but the discussions among employees about things that needed to be done and problems to be addressed was a tad unnerving. The coffee was fine. There is plenty of comfortable seating and parking. The bathroom could used to be given a little more cleaning (trash emptied).

Ordered on a whim after Starbucks had a ridiculous line and I was needing a caffeine fix and a bit of grub to go. Ordered two drinks and some breakfast burritos...wow!! Everything was amazing. Nondairy options so I don't p*** my pants which is a plus. Go here, don't hesitate, will be going back for sure!!!

What a beautiful little cafe, I believe it's become one of my favorites. I loved the decor and very friendly service. They make you feel welcomed, such a cozy feeling. It was very clean, plenty of room and loved the music. We ordered three coffees to go and a cookie, I'm looking forward to having my coffee there and food next time. They have sandwiches, soups, desserts and sometimes live music. I had the Hippie Chi Latte and it's now my favorite. I would highly recommend this lovely cafe, don't just pass by you won't regret it.

Wonderful little coffee shop we discovered also on our way from the Midwest to Phoenix area. Service was excellent- very inviting. Loved the little prayer jar on the counter. Thank you for that. Regular coffee and latte were very good as was the chocolate scone. Thank you Common Grounds for offering us a unique and lovely experience. Wishing you continued success.

Very cool coffee shop. They have a drink card for a free drink! Coffee has good flavor and the breakfast burrito was decent. The staff was very nice. I cant wait to go back for their Icecream w/ an espresso shot poured over. sounds delish!!

Hidden GEM! This place is located in a small, quiet, quaint town called Strafford, MO. It is "downtown." The first thing I noticed about this place is that the ENTIRE staff was smiling (incredibly rare - even for friendly establishments). My son and I were traveling, and kind of happened upon this place. The day we went in, Santa Claus was visiting; he was listening to Christmas wishes, and handing out candy. It was a pretty busy place. Several tables were full, and many people were standing around visiting with coffees in hand. We ordered a smoothie, Hippie Chai latte, and a buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious! The smoothie was very refreshing. The sandwich, on the fresh focaccia bread, was uh-mazing, and the coffee was perfect temperature with a perfect amount of froth! If we are ever back this way, we will definitely be stopping in.

A warm and quaint setting with a delightful offering of salads and sandwiches. Coffee and pastries. Delicious, every bit. I'll definitely make the drive again just for the tomato soup.

So good here!!! Amazing coffee and prices are great!!! The guy working the counter was super friendly and I signed up for the rewards too. Very calm relaxing feel and I didn't try the food but I'm excited to next time I go because there will definitely be a second time.

Fantastic place! And great coffee. Just wish their hours were longer. I have not got to try the ice cream side yet, but hope to do so soon!

I've found myself doing a coffee shop tour of South Jersey lately as I find new spots to study for my board exam. Common Grounds was a very solid spot in downtown Oaklyn. I was able to conveniently park for free in a nearby lot which is always a plus. The shop is decorated fairly traditionally but does have a cool wall with inspirational quotes. There is plenty of seating and just as importantly- plenty of OUTLETS (this detail is pretty critical when your macbook is 7+ years old). There is also free wifi that is easy to access and quick. Now, for the food/drinks-- there are a lot of unique drink options which is always fun. I am boring and opted for a cold brew and was pleasantly surprised by the wide array of nondairy milks (rice, almond, soy, and coconut) which goes a long way in my book. The cold brew itself was really good. There were several quiches which aren't necessarily my thing but did look pretty good and included a buffalo chicken quiche. There weren't too many baked goods to choose from, mostly muffins, but I decided to order the coffee cake. This was good but REALLY sweet and I had a hard time finishing it-- although I imagine most coffee cakes are that sweet. Overall, Common Grounds is a solid coffee shop with a lot going for it. The convenience is something that is really important to me as it is quite nice to be able to park without all of the crowds associated with coffee shops in other downtowns!

High prices, bad food and coffee. Poor lighting and atmosphere also. Slow service despite having 10 people working at the same time.
