I was visiting friends in Eugene and one of them insisted we visit Tam's before they close. Oh man, what a loss! The smells coming from the green food truck were so nice and comforting. I got the pho which was delicious. They used larger noodles than I expected from pho, and that was a nice surprise! I was looking for a warm, hearty meal on a rainy day. My bf got the wings which they really liked, and my friend stuck with their usual broken rice bowl. Glad we stopped by before their last day.

Ok. Here's the good and the bad. Bad: TAM'S IS CLOSING 6/18/22. That's THIS Saturday!!! Good: Every single thing on the menu. I personally love the tofu broken rice dish. Mmm. And the crispy rolls. The pho is phenomenal. I don't think you can go wrong. Hurry and get yourself some delicious eats before she closes up shop for good. Our family sure will miss you Tam!! We wish you well!

Best Bánh mì I've ever had! I like spice, and the spicy pork was just right. Not the quickest to get the food out but I didn't mind that. If you're in a hurry and getting takeout, call ahead for your order.

Only been here once, but might be our new favorite vietnamese place after having tried 4 other Vietnamese restaurants so far. Just really good, and they have quite a lot of menu options for a food truck. The grilled pork was a bit hard to eat since it wasn't sliced, and the food took around 35 mins (not their fault they're popular, just keep it in mind if you thought it'd be a quick to-go).

Fam was making a Filipino Market food run from Roseburg. After shopping we wanted Pho, perfect for a chili Eugene day. We Googled our request and we found Tam's Place housed in a Green Food Truck. We had the Pho and Broken rice plate which were both delicious. We'll try the Ban Mi and egg rolls next time.

One of my favorite places in town. So fresh and flavorful. High quality meat and ingredients. Consistently amazing food. I love everything on the menu, especially the grilled pork. Sometimes they have specials and they’re always fantastic- I especially love their sweet cakes and savory glutinous rice cakes.

Absolutely fantastic. Stumbled across this gem because it was close to the Air BnB we rented. The food was delicious and plentiful. My partner has been on a quest to find the perfect banh mi, and we found it here! He cannot stop talking about how great it was. They also dressed the outdoor tables so nice with fresh flowers. Highly recommend!!!
Excellent broken rice plate! Super flavorful chicken and the most amazing viet meatloaf!Our kiddo absolutely loved it!!! The green papaya salad was good, but would had liked a little more sugar and spice. The special cassava cake was outstanding...chewy and delicious.

The Bahn Mi sandwiches here are great - different from other Vietnamese places in town, so worth checking out. The Pho doesn't have a lot of meat ingredients, but the broth is tasty so worthwhile if you already live near South Eugene and want Pho close by.

BEST VIETNAMESE FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN, PERIOD !I would buy a plane ticket from Europe to Eugene just to eat Tam's marvellous dishes again ????♀️ I'm mixed so I am always looking for the best, most authentic, affordable, vietnamese owned restaurants. I haven't found any better. All the trendy restaurants chains like Pho in the UK or James Bun in Paris, and even the small familial Vietnamese restaurants that still put a lot of sodium glutamate in their dishes, they absolutely cannot compare with the quality, generosity and kindness that is offered by Tam's Place.This is also the best food truck I've ever eaten at because the food is so yummy, fresh and comforting, and the team is simply adorable ❤Their Instagram page is also amazing and definitely worth a follow. If I was a billionaire I would hire them to be my own private food truck, ahah !
