Absolutely heart wrenching listening to the owner announce she is having to close this restaurant. My family has been eating here for I don’t know how many years. This is one of the best in Eugene. We love Turtles and The Loft. This establishment will be so missed.

I love Turtles! I’ve been going to Turtles for over 15 years. Their Mac and cheese and fettuccine alfredo are incredibly delicious. Their dinner salads include lots of toppings which is nice change from the typical lettuce, carrot, ranch salad. Behind the main restaurant, they have “The Loft” which is a cute bar space for adults-only. I plan to be back soon!

I think we'd go there more often if they were slightly more convenient. The food is just fine. Service is usually just fine, too. We just don't have many reasons to go that far out Willamette.

This was the worst dining experience my wife and I have had in ages. First, we were met by a waitress who felt that it was necessary to tell us how horrible her shift had been and that she just wants to go home but has a toddler so she can't rest. Though I felt for her, it was not what I wanted to hear to start a romantic evening.

Their breakfast is amazing! I like turtles, they have good food but I tend to only want to eat there for breakfast on the weekends, the rest of their menu is good, but leaves a little to be desired

This was my first visit to Turtles and I found the atmosphere pleasant, the wait staff friendly and attentive, and the food was well prepared and fairly priced for the serving size. I will definitely be back and recommend to my friends and family.

Well, the waitress was extremely rude. After sitting here for 45 minutes I asked if I could get my salad. She said I didn't order it. Then tried to give me a break down of how it went down. I don't care how she wanted to tell me I was In the wrong. I said to her I don't care to debate. I would just like my food. She rolled her eyes then said whatever. I've never felt so disrespected in a restaurant. The waitress name is Prairie

Turtles is a reliable and comfortable staple for me and my wife. It might not be the best food in Eugene, but you know exactly what you are going to get each time you go there. Tends to get busy during the weekends at which point the wait times get excessive, but it is still a great place to watch a game or have a low key meal. Pro Tip - sit at the bar and you will get much better service AND order the home made chicken noodle soup because it will cure you of any illness or hangover.

I can't defend Turtle's turtle-like customer service any longer. They seem to be woefully understaffed on the floor and in the kitchen. Every time we've gone in the past year, it gets slower and slower. On Saturday night, they were not particularly busy, but it took almost 1.5 hours to get us two kids meals, two orders of salmon and a sandwich. The servers are still very friendly, but there was no apology or accommodation. I can't go back with my young kids, with such a long wait every time.

Turtles microwaves the ribs and half chicken to order. It is precooked, wrapped in plastic wrap than microwaved in the plastic wrap for four minutes for each order! I worked here for three days and didn't like the owner would get drunk at the bar and come back and yell at everyone. The owner refused to pay me for the three days I worked.
