“Normally, when finding a spot like this, I would keep my mouth shut because I don't want it packed, but that would be unfair....Good food. We had the combo meal with brisket and burnt ends. Burnt ends were cooked perfectly and tasted good with and without bbq sauce. The brisket was amazing. Trying to think of a brisket I have had that was that moist. Was good with and without bbq sauce. We had salad and sweet potato fries as our sides. The salad was fresh and crispy, and the fries were not greasy or limpy. Will definitely go back to try other things that we did not try.Loved the layout and music. Everything was clean and well maintained .We have a new place for bbq and other things on the west side of the Portland area!“
“The place serves some of the best quality food you’ll find in the area; the food is flavorful and vivid looking! The owner and his workers are very friendly, along with everyone else you’ll meet at the food truck pod it is located at. Highly recommend, and if you’re interested in asking for catering, they don’t just do barbecue!!! They will do any type you food you ask for, and it always turns out good. (The owner is a certified chef.) One of the best places to visit in Forest Grove for food! It’s definitely worth your money!!“
“My hiking partner and I had a wonderful dinner here. I had tried brisket once before (in Austin, TX) but had been less than impressed. The brisket here, however, was phenomenal - melt in your mouth, cut-with-a-fork tender and delicious. The cornbread was great a well. All of this with excellent service in a nice, casual atmosphere and a fire outside. Do yourself a favor and head out this way!“
“I had the 3 meat plate of lamb, pork belly, and pulled pork. All 3 not bad.Belly could’ve used more spices for flavor but was cooked well. The lamb was good. The pulled pork had the most flavor. Great sauces! Coleslaw was boring.Very friendly service. Also, you get a boatload of meat, very good value there.“
