Very nice diner. Great service and great food. Good size portions for the price too.

Good food, and a lot of it. In fact better than most chain diner restaurants (not that the bar is high in this category). However, beware of their gift cards, we've been given Black Bear gift cards three times now, and everything they have failed, including most recently (either they need a new system or their cards are a scam, which either way does not speak well for the company).

The young lady that took care of us was outstanding! She was very personable and had a great smile! I wish I could remember her name. We bonded over the tattoos we got in memory of our mother's.

Food is always hot and fresh. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have huge desserts and different choices. You can always buy your little one a black bear hear and have some pj's, house shoes, and tshirts too for the souvenir collector.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and they can color and draw on itWheelchair accessibility: 2 doors that open

Food was very slow to come but okay when we finally got.Lack of stars pertains to the cleanliness of the restaurant. Yikes, the carpet was full of huge disgusting stains and the bathrooms were filthy.

They were really short-staffed in the kitchen and the servers. It took about 40 minutes for our dinner to come out. My salmon was good, but we sent my wife's chili back. Have you ever had chili so bad that you had to send it back? It was just one of those bad experiences that come to everyone occasionally.

Stopped here yesterday for dinner. Got the "little less" meatloaf dinner and was in the hospital for hours with food poisoning! Should have read the reviews as it looked like others have also gotten sick here. Beware of the food!

Had dinner after church last night. I almost always have the Big Bear Chicken Fried Steak. ??? Best in town! Try to get seated in Ron's area. He's great!

These used to be a favorite. Last couple times we went the place was filthy. Service was slow. Owners are clearly squeezing out every dime and not upgrading the carpets and decor or cleaning much. Understaffed. I had a Patty Melt that was dry and I got sick before I got home.

We have been hearing about this restaurant for years. So we had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Grant’s Pass location. Our server, Emma was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. This restaurant is lucky to have such an amazing employee. The food is so tasty, the portions are very generous, the decor so cute and warm, and the service was great! We’ll done everyone. We plan on finding another location during our travels.
