“Love this spot. Pasta is so fresh, service is amazing, pink sauce is on point! A little bit of a wait but they come out with wine and garlic bread to make the time go by faster! Once you get inside, it's loud but more like a celebration. Family style.We literally ordered everything on the menu... I was so hungry I forgot to take pics of all the food. Get rigatoni sausage with pink sauce - I think it was called mama D's special - I don't remember - but anything pink sauce and sausage! It was BOMB. A must try for all you pasta lovers! “We ate here over the Christmas holiday. Everything was delicious. They make the bread in-house and it's so good. I will definitely eat here again. They also bring your bill out in a vintage book that you can sign. I thought that was a neat touch.“
“Okay so I just wanted to see what Gianelli's sandwiches were all about. I'm a very very picky person when it comes to two sandwiches. The Cheesesteak and the meatball. My wife got the Reuben and she said it was great I however did not try it. So let's start with the cheesesteak. The Cheesesteak at Gianelli's could not be closer to Pat's or Geno's in Philly. I grew up on their Philly cheesesteaks. And here we are in Grants Pass Oregon at Gianelli's and this is the best cheesesteak I have come across outside of Philadelphia. I will be ordering from there anytime I want a cheesesteak. The other two places that I regularly get my cheesesteaks from are good but they do not come close to Gianelli's. So I give their Cheesesteak 10 stars all the way. Now let's move right on over to the meatball. The meatball sandwich at Gianelli's is very very good. Better than any other meatball sandwich I have had in Oregon. So yes, I will be ordering my two favorite sandwiches from this restaurant all the time. As far as price goes? 13.50 per sandwich and I do not believe that price is any more than the other two places that I normally get sandwiches. So all in all if you like a good cheese steak and a good meatball sandwich then I recommend you go to Gianelli's you're not going to find better anywhere else trust me when I say that! I can't say anything about the atmosphere of this place because I've never eaten inside. But I can say this, whoever took my order over the phone was great. She was friendly, she was funny and she laughed at my dumb jokes. My wife and I will stop and have dinner there soon. Thank you Gianelli's and we will see you again soon. Carson and his staff make you feel like you are their personal friend and go way above to make the experience great. This is our favorite place in town hands down.“
