5 Best Wine Bars in Grants Pass

PINTSNWINE POURHOUSE Bar • $$
950 SW 6th St, Grants Pass

“This place, a new find for me, is a keeper. I am a non drinking beer aficionado (I know) and love bars, so this place, with 15 taps and many drink cases( filled with all kinds of great beer. Walking in is a bit like cheers. The staff is super good It is small but not cramped, and a place that makes you feel welcome. I guess I got a bartender on their second shift, and that human was shredding it. Knowledge, humor, lots of interplay, great music. Great job, Nathan!! Come check it out“

“My husband and I enjoyed the most exquisite and relaxed dinner of our lives at Partake Fine Dining. For our special celebration, we chose the Omnivore Tasting Menu and enjoyed fruit compote, soup that warmed me up on a chilly night, braised vegetables, scallops, quail, venison, served beautifully and in relaxed fashion. Chef Wolf creates main course dishes served with delectable sauces and reductions. The tasting menu includes wine pairings, carefully selected each month. The Chef shops for fresh produce at the Grants Pass Growers’ Market and creates a seasonal variety of tasty and wonderful vegetables dishes. Every bite was savored! I will always remember and treasure dining at Partake on our special night.“

“Wonderful experience!! The owner and her son were so friendly, and they made excellent menu recommendations. The coffee was OUTSTANDING! Piña Colada was perfect. We had the GP Cubano and the Complete Cubana, both delicious. But the dessert, OMG the dessert - I hope you get there in March, because the town of Grants Pass is doing a "grilled cheese challenge" with local restaurants, and their answer is a grilled CHEESECAKE - cheesecake filling sandwiched between two slices of grilled pound cake, drizzled with a guava syrup. OMG, so good. I hope they keep doing it.“

“Our first time eating here and we left very full and satisfied. Service was great and they were very attentive to our needs. I ordered the scallop truffle pasta and added grilled shrimp, but would've been fine without the shrimp overall. I think mine was the tastiest of the 3 dishes ordered, but fiancé had the flat bread and he ate the entire thing! Parents ordered and shared the ribeye, but weren't fond of the brussel sprouts as they were still pretty bitter after being sautéed. Overall, we had leftovers for later and they were just as tasty as when we ate them at the restaurant“
