This is NOT a safe space. Went in today, first time since the remodel, super excited to try it out until the conversation in the cafe took a nasty turn. The owner was ringing up a couple of folks at the counter and stated “We need to teach men how to be men again - what, with all this ‘girly man’ stuff going on”. Deeply offensive and inappropriate conversation. If you are LGBTQIA2+, I would steer clear of this cafe. It is not a safe space.

Seriously, I dare you to find a gluten free biscuit as fluffy and lovely as the ones at Hope's.Hope and her staff are so incredibly friendly as well, and are so open and easy to chat with. You instantly recognize the hard work that has been put into each and every recipe that is being sold. To quote Hope, she "won't sell anything to someone that she wouldn't deeply appreciate herself."Please visit this gem of a cafe, it will be worth your while.Dietary restrictions: They have a large assortment of milk alternatives. I recently discovered this spot after learning about them from a post from the local community Facebook page. My fiance and I are gluten-free and knew we had to try them out! Hope's isn't a dedicated gluten-free kitchen, but the owner is gluten-free herself and takes precautions to help prevent cross-contamination. We ordered her "hot mess" meal with GF biscuits & gravy, a GF cinnamon roll, and a GF jalapeno cheddar wiener wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS, and my fiance said "Hope is a wizard!" Hope and her employee were incredibly friendly and personable, and even the customers were too. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back again and again!
