“We discovered D'Anu wine a few years ago at a wine bar in Dallas, OR and always wanted to try their other reds. It was our first visit here, and we're so happy to live nearby now, because it's a fabulous little place. We had the brie plate, pretzels and two flights to sample all their reds. It was hard to pick favorites because they are all so good, but we ended up getting some Lárnách and Primitivo. The live music was a perfect match for the scene, and we'll definitely be back soon!“
“I loved!Everything we ordered was exquisite from the fried calamari and nachos with cheese and spinach appetizers to the meat and shrimp bowl. This was a recommendation from an acquaintance who worked there and wow we loved it! We have actually visited several restaurants in Oregon but there are few that have excellent service. The only recommendation I would make is to hire a bilingual person who can recommend the dishes to Spanish-speaking people who are passing through.“
“I have to leave a review for Urban Decanter. TL;DR - You should go, they’re worth every penny. We’ve been residents of Forest Grove for about a year and a half, and when we first moved here we tried Urban Decanter a few times over the months for dinner. We finally gave up. The food was mediocre and overpriced. Not worth it at all. But a couple months ago we heard they had a new chef who was fantastic. We were leery, but we finally gave them another try. Oh my. Absolutely fantastic. The first time we started with the burrata, and my wife got the cod while I got the chicken paprikash. Everything was absolutely amazing. Absolutely worth it. We went again tonight which prompted this review. They had a weekend menu with a country pork pate with hazelnuts for an appetizer. Oh. Wow. Insanely good. For the entrees my wife got the Mac and cheese, and I got the wine braised short ribs. Again, everything was amazing.Do yourself a favor. Go here. The new chef is a culinary genius. Thank you, Urban Decanter, for stepping it up and becoming true fine dining in Forest Grove.“
“I've wanted to come for a while, and it was amazing! I'd been buying their G Joy and G 50 for some time and was excited to try a broader range of their wares. Definitely one of the best tours and tastings I've ever had. Carly was so knowledgeable and friendly and really helped us get to know the SakéOne family. The tasting we picked was of all SakéOne craft sakés and was just delightful. I appreciated experiencing all the various nuances of flavor. Carly was super attentive and provided lots of great info. My friend was also super impressed and thought it was fantastic. I had such an excellent time and can't wait to bring back more folks to try our tasty saké!“
“A rare find in Hillsboro. Diverse menu, mellow atmosphere, overlooking the golf course and trees. Prices surprisingly affordable. High quality fresh salads, sandwiches, entrees. Mellow music. Great for lunch on a rainy Oregon day. Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Will return for dinner next.“
“Tucked around the corner and through the bushes, from the Mcmenamins Roadhouse, this place can be easy to walk past. Signage for the co-establishment is sub par, but just ask the staff and they will point you. I would recommend this place for any after work gathering. Whiskey bar with cigar offerings and plenty of outside seating. You can even eat from a condensed menu via the Roadhouse kitchen.“
