“My family and I came here for Sunday brunch. We were all impressed with both the food and the service. My son said that the eggs Benedict was the best he has ever had. I heard good things about the fish and chips, and even though that would not be my normal go to, I went for it. It did not disappoint…the batter and the halibut were perfect. “Had a birthday party for our co-worker, and none of us had eaten here before. Don't let the outside deceive you. The inside is very lovely and adds to the ambiance. I think we got a little loud, as the main dining area isn't really sectioned off. They are finishing off truffle season, so we got two orders of their truffle fries. The beef shank with amazing creamy potatoes was awesome. Their seafood dish was also very good, though the sauce could have used a bit more of a kick. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Corkage is also reasonable at $20. Waiter was great and even did some table magic. Great experience.“
“UPDATE: Sad to say that the food has gobe downhill since we firat started going there. For a $200.00 dinner it just fell flat. There was a chickpea "casserole" that turned out to be chickpeas kinda molded into a square with a bit of liquid and some seasoning. My partner had the duck loin and in my estimation was not even cooked. With that beautiful wood fired oven it should have been phenomenal. Maybe the lunch menu was better. We will try that soon. But Jory, find your fun again please.OMG. This is the perfect place for an upscale dinner or lunch. Everything is prepared with perfect detail. Best truffle fries in the valley. And drinks are top shelf. Try some of the homemade pickles and you will be hooked. What a beautiful place to go when the world has become too crazy“

“We recently visited Black Dog Winery and were blown away by the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces they created. The views are perfect, and there's plenty of seating to relax and enjoy a glass of wine both indoor and by the outdoor fire pits. It's super family and dog friendly -- we had a big group of 10 people with kids and babies and they welcomed us all in - it was perfect!Steve, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend Black Dog Winery for anyone looking for a fun and relaxed day out with family or friends. The combination of great wine, beautiful surroundings, and friendly staff make for an unbeatable experience.“

“These folks were really great to us! We were recommended this place by someone in industry and could not have been any more pleased! Lots of pinot noirs as well as some chardonnays to try. We especially appreciated the intimate experience of the patio/tasting area. Reservations are necessary for a place like this. I would definitely come back to have a glass of wine on a cozy afternoon. The knowledge of the staff was super impressive and extremely accommodating. Rob walked us through all the wines with nice stories in between.“
