“I LOVE Silk Thai. Do not sleep on this place bc the food is fantastic. Everything - from taste, texture, freshness and choices. I haven't ordered one thing yet that I did not enjoy. The ambiance is peaceful, simple, clean. Service is great. The owner always seems to be working and she's very attentive to everyone in her care. It's located right on main street amongst the cute shops and local shops. Great for dining alone, with another or a group.“

“The drinks and food were phenomenal my husband got the chimichanga and could not say enough how it is the best he’s ever had. I had the stuffed piquillo peppers with a green salad it was all so flavorful and just the right balance of texture taste and flavors. I also had a grapefruit cocktail that I can’t remember the name of but it was flavorful & very refreshing. The service was patient helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Xicha if you enjoy really good food and want to excite your palate.“

“The pastries were nicely sized, freshly baked, and delicious!!! The peach scones are phenomenal, with big chunks of peach, and not dry and crumbly like a traditional scone. You can get a fantastic cup of coffee, too! We’ve gotten a few cakes and some iced sugar cookies for different occasions, and have never been disappointed!!!“

I just thought they jacked the prices up again until I happened to look at my receipt. I did let management know but did not want to drive back in and deal with it.“

“It is hard to find good breakfast in this area and Cafe 22 hits the spot. I love their peaches, the pancake thickness isnt overly cakey and hard to swallow. The bacon is thick and cooked just right. The raspberry jam is real raspberry jam. The water mentioned in the another review is because they are on a well so it does taste little bit more tinnish, a lemon wedge in my water cured that. Stopped by the fruit stand for fresh strawberries, on the spendy side, but oh the flavor, absolutely nothing beats an Oregon strawberry. Had I known they did strawberry short cake, I woulda skipped the breakfast and went straight to the fruit stand.“

“Since the remodel, the dining area is quite small and feels like an afterthought to the new lounge space, BUT I'm not there for the ambiance. The cuisine is IMPECCABLE. Real true authentic. My husband is Diabetic and the owner is extremely attentive to his needs. She consults with him about what substitutions would taste good and prepares dishes just for him.They have combined the 2 menus they had and a few of the more "exotic" dishes they have removed. All our favorite delights are still there. The boiled fish, hot pots, and curried meats are amazing and always please. Even what I call the "American-ized" dishes like sweet and sour pork, pork chow mein, and pork fried rice are top notch in flavor and freshness of the ingredients.I recommend to ANYONE who will listen ❤️“

“WONDERFUL!! The dining area is in the back so you're not bothered by customers coming in and out and picking up their Togo orders. Also their level of a 10 for spiciness is spot on. Their food is always perfectly prepared: crisp/tender for veggies and meats/fish tender, very flavorful and appealing to the eye!The staff are efficient and friendly. “First time visiting this charming little West Salem landmark restaurant. Even at their busiest time, the speed and quality of service was excellent.Another mixed bag review for the food. Had their prime rib hash, very tasty. Sadly the chef didn't manage to keep my eggs done easy.. ☹️Potato cakes were delightful. Gravy was better than average, but the biscuit was really too doughy and thick.Definitely get the sausage links though, they were quite good.Will visit again.“
