I was in the mood for a classic American Chinese restaurant and this was just perfect. Will we enjoyed our meal we also heard another customer telling someone that this is their "go-to" place. I understand that it will be mine now too.Amazing value on the flexible dinner option of one entree with rice and soup. They also have the classic combination dinners all at a very reasonable price.

I love John’s usually and will continue to support them, however, they should really figure out how to handle busy nights.We placed an order on Christmas Eve, so we were expecting a wait to get the food. To my surprise, they told me to pickup in 10/15 minutes. We showed up about 15 minutes after our phone call and it’s packed, naturally. Not one person greeted us or acknowledged us entering. We just joined the herd inside. People were coming in for reservations and being told they were closed now. Long story short, we waited an additional hour for our food. Then our order was wrong. We just needed our bbq pork. I was told by “the manager” that he would give me an egg roll on my next visit if I would just accept it as it was. I said no, I wanted the BBq pork. He said it would be 10 minutes and they’d call me when it was ready because there was no room inside. Well, another hour goes by while I’ve talked to 2 different people, all managers apparently but different than the one I originally talked to and still no pork. Went inside and spoke to a waitress who talked to the cooks and saw there was no ticket for me and no one knew anything. She was able to get me pork in about 5 minutes.Missed family at my house during this time and the rest of our food was cold. Left a sour taste in my mouth, but I was trying to be gracious as it was a busy night. I hope they can do better for the next holiday or limit orders.

I can no longer recommend John's. While the staff was great, the food is not.My broccoli beef was soggy broccoli, flavorless beef bits, and raw onions. In beef broth. No flavor, no fresh textures.I'm so disappointed.

I would highly recommend that this establishment implements online ordering, since no one there seems to be able to take an order over the phone correctly.
Pretty disappointed, on Christmas Eve we had reservations. Our waitress dropped our utensils and cups on the ground and still gave them to us to use. Didn't bring our soup or tea. Our meals came our at separate times. Our sides came out before our entrees. On 3 occasions I was told my meal was being cooked then the 4th time she came out she said we ran out of chicken. They refused to comp our meal.

This is my go-to spot for Chinese takeout in Keizer! I absolutely love the Sweet and Sour Pork with BBQ fried rice. The staff is exceptionally friendly and even remembers you after just a few visits. It's become my regular Friday lunch spot, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Oh Johns. It's a Keizer staple. Are you going to be wowed by a beautiful setting and lavish decor? Nope. But, you're going to get some damned fine food.We thoroughly enjoy our visits to John and the really good food they provide. Very kind and attentive staff. It really is just a treat.
