The staff were friendly and helpful. We were there during the lunch menu hours on a weekday. Hard cider was a new experience. We liked the blackberry and the pomegranate flavors. The food was good, and plentiful. IF you have desert, we recommend the pecan cake with a rum and raisin sauce!
Whether you're in the main pub downstairs, or the rooftop bar a few floors up, the menu is pretty much the same. You know what to expect from the McMenamins kitchen, although none of their signature pizzas are on offer here, it seems (no Hammerhead BBQ pizza for me, today!). It's a typical McMenamins pub. Fun little rooftop bar and mostly all the same things you get at every McMenamins, but nothing to complain about other than it was a little bit old and stinky. I definitely recommend taking the over 90 stairs to the rooftop bar as that will help you work off your delicious truffle as always with McMenamins. The service is good and quirky.
