Ambiance was nice. I don't know why anyone would think this was good Mexican food. The avocado placed on my tostado was brown. The salad was pretty good but then again only pretty good. The fish taco was just bad. I don't think we will be returning.

Amazing lunch experience @ Maguey Cocina in Medford, OR.! Beautiful restaurant with amazing management and staff! The decor was absolutely stunning, I felt like we were in a small, intimate South American town. The artwork is colorful, eye-catching, and vibrant. The food was delicious starting with restaurant style chips and homemade salsa!! Our lunch meals came out hot and fresh. Great rice & beans as well. Shout out to our waitress Berenice. She was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. I ordered the enchilada and taco lunch combo with chicken in the enchilada and ground beef in the hard taco. Before I took a bite, she came with a ground beef taco because I was served a chicken taco by mistake. Now I have dinner, lol. I appreciate that she noticed and made it right. The older gentlemen, who I assumed was an owner or manager was walking by when my friend dropped her napkin and he said, "Don't worry about that, I'll get you more!" and he did. We'll be back for sure. Thank you.
Atmosphere was great. My tostada was only okay. I did swap out the refried beans for black beans but the tortilla was small and not crunchy. There were few onions. The flavor was bland on its own but better with added salsa.This restaurant is a favorite of my parents and also has student menu deals. Other items are probably much better.Vegetarian options: Not geared towards vegetarian eaters.

The most authentic Mexican food you can get in Medford outside of a taco truck. All the others are pretenders and pale by comparison. The ambience may be just so so. But the food is absolutely terrific.

Ate here the other night with my sister. The food arrived quickly and was delicious-- I got the chile verde with hard taco shells, 100% recommend. The server in charge of our table was incredibly attentive and I could see them checking in on other tables around us frequently as well. We were seated in view of the entrance area, and could see that all the staff, not just the waiters/bussers were keeping busy. The kids working at the front answered phones, sat parties, collected payment, and were generally milling about the restaurant taking care of all sorts of stuff. All of the employees seemed to maintain a good balance between paying attention to customers and cleaning/restocking. When we went to pay for our food, the girl who helped us was super sweet. Very refreshing experience overall, between the fast, good food, attentive service, and pleasant small talk from the hostess. Could not recommend more!
