We just had dinner for the first time at Lou’s Kitchen. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. We don’t live in Mt. Angel but we had heard about it from some friends. Nice country drive for a really nice dinner.
This was our first time here as we do not live in the area. Really good food. And great service. We ordered their Thurs dinner special (weekly German dish) and their famous Turkey Cran w/Avocado on a croissant sandwich that Lorine our server recommended. Both were absolutely delicious. And we will be back for both for sure. But the weekly special Konisberger klopse was soooo good we had to purchase 2 more orders to go.The owner made it a point to go to all the tables to check...read full review

Mt.Angel Abbey is the reason to visit this town , and Lou's kitchen is a place to stop by for any occasion to eat. Soup, salads, and sandwiches are all fantastic. My favorite is a crossian avocado sandwich with potato soup , burgers, and all other menus will be great. Kristi dad was the owner a long time ago, and Scott, her husband bith works so hard and creates great meals !!! Original old building maintained great condition , love the place!!!
