“I was in Newport for a week for work, and this delightful little drive-thru coffee shop was a great way to start each day.

Located near the heart of Newport, this quaint shop offers a variety of coffees, teas, Red Bull drinks, and additional flavors. There are also a handful of breakfast and healthy snacks to purchase. You can order a typical coffee drink or try one of their house specialties with delicious flavors and themes that tie back to Newport and/or the Pacific Northwest. There's something for everyone, and they even have dog treats if you bring your pups to the shop.

I was also happy to know that if you wanted to make the drinks more or less sweet they could accommodate. There are also are sugar free options. And for the sweets lovers, each coffee is topped off with a chocolate covered espresso bean.

The building itself accommodates walk-ups and drive thru. The exterior is a beautiful blue, and the interior looks clean and well kept. The staff is extremely friendly offering suggestions, describing the drinks, and doing everything in their power to ensure you leave a happy customer.

I would come back to Newport for a variety of reasons, but I would definitely come back for this coffee experience.”

“WOW! We drove out of our way to get your famous cinnamon rolls, and they were dry and stale. My wife had never tried one and I kept bragging how good they were. We bought three that day Feb. 28, 2025. Just lost a faithful customer who drives 30 minutes out of our way.”

“it is ok but for the price you think they would take their time to cook the proteins. the chicken, pork and salmon in my dishes were severely overcooked and the salmon not the best quality it was a bit fishy and old yet they still priced it as if it was fresh. if you are on the Oregon coast you shouldn't skimp on the seafood.”

“Nothing happens when I click on the photo, it won’t let me load a photo of my black slimy translucent lettuce! The chalet is our go to restaurant for breakfast and lunch however, today I had a salad. It looked great, until I started eating it and got black, slimy, lettuce, and even the iceberg lettuce was mostly soggy. Some of the iceberg lettuce was even translucent, looking as if it had been frozen at one time. I would be humiliated to serve a disgusting salad like this one and not offering to replace the salad or remove the cost from the bill.”

“Newport on a Tuesday night. We drove to five restaurants before finding Zach’s Bistro. Although He was sold out of almost everything, we were able to get the most amazing dinner ever! Even my five-year-old grandson loved the food. I had the fish cakes, with artichoke and dill. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. My daughter had perfectly cooked salmon dinner. Desert was an awesome chocolate, berry and browned marshmallow. I am so happy we stumbled on this fine dining restaurant on the edge of Nye Beach area in Newport Oregon!”

“This is the best Arctic Circle I've been to. Best fish sandwich I've ever had at any fast food joint. Maybe it was so good because we were at the coast lol. The friend I was with said being at the coast didn't matter because it was a fast food chain. All I know is the fish was light, flaky and tastes amazing. The french fries and cheese curds were also amazing. The only complaint I had was the guy in the Drive-Thru seemed slightly grouchy. Maybe he was just having an off day.”

“We were staying nearby and popped in for some breakfast. The person working the front was not very welcoming. She barely smiled or acknowledged us coming in the door. She was busy cleaning the counter and refilling some pastries. It was our first time there, and we thought we maybe missed "a way of doing something." Finally, my husband had to tell her that we were ready to order. We ordered two drip coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a burrito. It took a little longer than normal to get our food. This did give us plenty of time to observe the same girl do the same thing to person after person. It was not a friendly environment to walk into. After waiting almost 20+ minutes we took our food back to our hotel. There wasn't much room to sit in this place or even wait for our order. However, the food was absolutely delicious. And I would go as far as to say it was worth the wait. Just don't expect to make a quick stop if you are ordering any type of food. However, again, I will say it is worth the wait to get one of their food items!”

“Of note, this Mo's does not do fried food and doesn't have the standard Mo's dishes. That said if you want more seafood options and a more seasonal menu, this is the place to go. Watching people unloading and cleaning fish and oysters just outside the window is definitely a plus

“We reserved the restaurant for our sons birthday and it was the best decision ever! Not only did the owners have special signs made up, but posted it to their billboard. They helped me set up and the wife who owns it helped with setup ideas when she saw me panic. Typically clean up is frantic at other places, but the husband insisted we NOT help. The owners and staff made it to where I could enjoy the party too. Excellent service.”

“This is the place on the Newport bayfront for live music!! Karaoke THURS-SAT nights, Live band 3-6pm Saturdays, and a well-run jam/open mic on Sunday 3-6pm. great crowd, the staff is upbeat and friendly (and delightfully sassy), and it's a great hangout.”

I am no stranger to craft breweries having visited so many, but also having brewed many myself. This brew pub has a variety of beers to choose from, but I was disappointed to hear that over a third of their menu was unavailable. Their cocktail menu is also nothing short of intriguing.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food options. Newport is a seafood town, and you really should try some local fresh catches, but in addition to seafood Anchor offers all sorts of other cuisines for both starters and entrees.

The ambiance is almost that of a brewery mixed with a sports bar. They do close relatively early, but it was still a great experience, and the server was incredibly hospitable and helpful.”

“Great first time visiting to Rogue brewery! Enjoyed the Italian sub and a great dead guy ale. The bartender was very nice. Only down side is alot of merchsise is not available in store and nothing on line. Also sad growlers are no longer purchasable. Please add more merchandise to your website”
