“Hing's is authentic as it gets in the Portland area. The atmosphere is an older restaurant, which I really like, it's nostalgic for sure.

The food is fantastic, too much on the plate so you will need a to-go box. I had butterfly shrimp that are dipped in egg, not flour so they're gluten-free, with a thin strip of bacon inside and quick fried. DELICIOUS! plated with sauteed snow peas and onions in a light white sauce. Potstickers are large and handmade. No frozen potstickers from the Asian market freezer bag at Hing's, baby! The steamed rice is moist and separated, not overcooked and sticky

Service is great. Happy to see you, listen and answer questions happily. I never felt rushed or forgotten. Same every time I have been to Hing's including take-away service. Consistent, this wasn't a "good night", typical service.

Everything on the menu is fantastic, cooked correctly, not over oily, not over-sauced. Noodles al dente, just a little chewy, but soft.

Are ya hungry yet? Go to Hing's!Your mouth will be happy, and you'll be glad you did. Your date will be impressed you know this place.

“The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm. The food is mostly good for an American restaurant chain. Something of note, they do add buttermilk wheat pancake batter to most egg dishes that use the carton egg mix, except for the scrambled eggs, which does change the texture and flavor of the eggs quite a bit. There's plenty of parking and they have highchairs for kids. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained, but the toilet paper... one step away from becoming writing paper. It's the worst toilet paper I've ever used in my life. Why does this type of toilet paper exist? Was there a surplus from some WW2 era torture compound on clearance? A bulletproof armor experiment gone bad? It's like they ran an old pancake through a laminator. I've seen breath fog up a window thicker than this. If you eat here, sneak in and leave a roll of Charmin, save a life. 🥁 😂

The entire restaurant is accessible, there is one handicap stall in the womens restroom and I would assume the same for the mens room. There are brace bars by the toilet. Very accessible parking regardless of using the handicap space.”

“Tokis is always a solid bet. The food is consistent and the owners are very grateful for your business. I typically dine on the spicy combo or the combo ramen. The ramen has a good base with a good amount of protein, the noodles are similar to what you'd find in package ramen. However, If you're looking for japanese ramen this is not it, but again the dish is tasty. My wife will order the chicken teriyaki or the vegetable tempura. The cucumber salad is simple but always refreshing. The service at Tokis is friendly and welcoming.”
