“I'm eating my leftovers from earlier today from Alani not wanting this to end. Honestly, I had tried the falafel/ Mediterranean place at corner 14. Each time, disappointed. I just gave up on good Mediterranean in OC. Until today! This hummus- divine! Garlicky goodness. I did splurge on the platter as I love saffron rice. Even my picky toddler wanted to eat off my plate which is a huge win. The owner was especially sweet. Will be back! Bad food in Oregon city is no longer acceptable, sorry! More places like this are the new standard.“

“I come from the other end of the state once a year, I don’t have this option at home and really look forward to it. I love the food. I will say that this year will be the last time to your cart. The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. I’m not sure what I did to piss this p**** off, but I don’t like your food enough to deal with it anymore. “No soup for you!”“

“I love this restaurant. We live on the same block so we come pretty often. The people who own this place are the nicest people you'll ever meet. The food is unique, gorgeous, and delicious. One of my favorites is the Al-Hawr Salad. It is dressed with pomegranate molasses olive oil and garnished with these crispy comet-shaped croutons. Honestly I'm not sure what they're called but it's like a satchel filled with a bit of sumac onions and fried. The wrapper is shatteringly crisp and we like to dunk all the crispy pieces into hummus. By the way the hummus here is like silk, just so extremely tasty. We get it every single time. Our other family favorite is the filet mignon main dish. They really know their meats here and the steak tastes fantastic with a bit of char from the grill. My go-to cocktail here is the mule. It has vodka, rose water and ginger beer. Simply refreshing. There's assorted beers and wine available too. And a cute bar inside the restaurant. The owner told us tonight he's recently opened the restaurant for lunch. Starting at 11am. There will be lunch sized portions with limited selection of the main menu. Don't sleep on this place, it's a hit every time.“

“We ordered the fried chicken, summer salad, hummus with burnt beef tips and the corn ribs. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The summer salad in particular was refreshing and different. I can not recommend this place enough.“

“Quick and easy for take out. Best was the chicken and beef shawarma, then chicken kebab, and least favorite was the kafta which is usually our favorite. I can see how we have grown to like it a particular way and this may be someone else’s tastes, as it was not bad in any way - still tender and properly made; just the flavor profile wasn’t to my liking.Garlic sauce is pretty runny and consistency off but still a decent flavor. Tahini standard, not a fan of the spicy mayo type sauce.Rice was solid, flavorful. Iraqi bread is quite good as well.Overall still a 5 still for this area, esp. if they work on the garlic sauce.Recommend and will be back.“

“So disappointed... That I didn't know about this place sooner!! Last night my husband told me he had NEVER eaten a gyro. I knew I had to correct this immediately. So, I started looking for gyros near me. Now, since he's never tried one, I didn't want him to have a bad first experience that would put him off of them forever since I enjoy them so much. I chose this establishment based on very high google reviews (5 stars) and because it's so close to where we live (5 mins). This place has gone beyond expectations! The food is amazing! Perfect blend of delicious spices and ingredients. HUGE amount of food. It was so delicious that I scarfed it down so fast I got sauce up my nose. I'm so happy that we found this little gem. “So...update time. We recently went back to Hush Hush Cafe. I swore I would not go back but when you crave a particular food, you give in. We ordered two falafel sandwiches, a chicken shawarma sandwich, and lemonade. I asked for the sammies to be grilled and they tasted delicious! What a huge improvement! I have not tried the manakeesh again. I will update you if we do! Thank you for the tasty sandwiches and for making me drive all over the place to find a new spot to dine!“

“I have eaten here a few times. Everything is gluten free except the naan. All the dishes are amazing, but the biryani is off the charts amazing. It is all home made and fresh. Will definitely come back and try everything else.Kid-friendliness: Food truck atmosphere. There is a stage to play on unless they have live music performing.“

“This Kosher falafel and also beyond meat in pitta was very good. Also lentil or tomato soups. restaurant is pretty nice with very nice guy who is running it.It is located in the Jewish center so the atmosphere is not the usual restaurant one. More like a familes place.I liked it, I think it's the only certified Kosher restaurant in Portland, a place simply to eat.Vegetarian options: Everything (or almost) is vegetatianParking: It's the parking of the Jewish community center“

Remembered having their hummus a long long time ago back in California but never remembered what their name was until I stumblef upon them at the Beaverton Farmers Market.The hummus and pita bread were as good as always, especially when you toast the bread. “Although there used to be another Persian / Mediterreanian Restaurant in this location before, this is a newer establishment, under new ownership and management. We stopped here for lunch with a couple of friends on Friday at noon... right as they open. The place was empty with no other customers besides the three of us. This is a large restaurant with plenty of seating. They seem to have a large bar as well. We ordered three of the Persian specialty foods, typically served at restaurants... the Ground Beef Kabob, the Chicken Kabob and the Barg Kabob. All were served with fluffy Saffron covered Basmati rice, a grilled tomato and of course each was served the appropriate kabob. The quality and quantity of all the items were very good. The Kabobs were served hot and were flavorful. We will have to come back to try the rest of their menu items.“

“I ordered a falafel over salad and waited for quite some time. Apparently, there was some confusion and my order was delayed. When I received my food, there was no charge due to the wait! Not necessary but very kind. Turns out, it was well worth the wait. The falafel and salad were delicious! Thank you, I will return :)“
