You order at the register. The employee was courteous, and politely answered my questions, and he went above and beyond by giving me a plastic fork when I asked if there's any, and to-go box. If you want to sample the different meats, I recommend trying the 3 meat platter, and there's an assorted hot sauce shelf to add zest to your sides and meat.Vegetarian options: Some of the sides are vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: There are coloring papers at the register for kids to color on.
We did not try this restaurant before because of some initial reviews when they opened. Today, because of better reviews and a hankering, we did takeout (two 2-meat meals for 3 adults), and tried 4 meats and 4 sides. We were very happy with the food; my husband says it's better than Dickey's was. The Mac salad is like what you get in the south and in Hawaii, a mild accompaniment for spicy food.
